Chilli udon pot noodle thing. I added diced chorizo during the soaking stage. Bootiful. Game changer. Should have added the roasted edame I had as well but will next time.

Anyone here apart from me absolutely detest IPv6?
I could just about manage to count to 255, but how can you count to ffff 8 (decimal) times, AND have to use the shift key for colon separators. It fair turns my old brain to mush.

I went to a branch of 'Ottolenghi' and had a small box / container full of char-grilled, lemony / tahini vegetables, and a fritter of some sort. It was nice.

I was always told local DNS would mean you didn't need to remember IP6 addresses as everything would be named after Dr Who characters or marvel baddies or something. Apparently not.

I did not like Meatloaf's songs.
The thing I liked least of all was the line 'Sex and drums and rock 'n roll.' A phrase no-one said, ever.

I thought party whips were all about blackmail. That's my understanding from House of Cards. I mean the BBC one. I've cancelled the other one from my memory.

I had a friend at school. His parents were quite wealthy. I once met him 'down at the nature reserve' and he sat there listing for me how much each item of clothing he was wearing cost. Then he asked me to compare mine.
His parents had a big 'Bat out of Hell' poster framed in their hall.
There's nothing to be drawn from that. It's just my association.

I had a flatmate in the 90s who loved 'I would do anything for love' to the exclusion of all other music. He would play that one song on repeat, evening after evening. It wasn't acceptable, but I didn't take it up with him as he was the only one who ever emptied the bins.

Actually my other main Meatloaf association is of a 'Roger the Dodger' story, in The Beano, in which Roger decided he was going to be like Meatloaf, and so briefly took on the character of 'Meatbread'. I can't remember what the dodge was.

That's all fine and dandy if the lookup response finds it's way back to you. I have a VOIP service where the requests make it across the network, but the response is being sent but disappears somewhere on the return path. It's not even my area, but they 'think'* it might cross some of my boxes so have raised a support ticket.... ....on a Friday afternoon. * Want to get someone else to troubleshoot their whole network for them. My heart is not in it. Also, my eyeball is due at the stabbers on Monday for the cold steel, and i'm not looking forward to having to be there as well. BDF anyone?

Have you tried switching it off and back on again?

I like Meatloaf. Well I like his two famous songs. Bat out of hell got you the best bunce-per-minute return on your jukebox money. Went on for ages. Also, 'The Meat' is a pretty cool nickname.
