Games: Well, Animal Crossing, but I also started up Trails in the Sky without a controller attached to see whether I could get used to a keyboard. The answer is a resounding 'NO', and not only because the game is on the fritz as soon as I enter the menu. Could be the result of starting it from a desktop shortcut. I had real difficulties getting out of there, so I don't think I'll go back to check. I don't want to go on about this, but this is exactly why I don't like PC gaming and never will. I'd rather be a peasant and have a game that works. It's only because developer Nihon Falcom had such a knack of choosing the wrong platform that I'm putting up with this. It's a credit to the series that it survived despite those decisions as well as the drawn out mess that was the Western localisation. It's just a pity that all these factors have led to the series being so little known.
With another gamestream of Trails in the Sky SC looming on Sunday I have now taken stock of how much I've missed due to my month long holiday, and it's worse than I thought. Not quite sure how I'll do it, but it's just under 20 hours of stream I will have to catch up on. Gulp.
OTTM: word is that my brother is getting out of hospital today, so hopefully I'll be able to talk to him over the phone later. Turns out that he slipped on that icy patch and broke his leg because he was trying to make way for a jogger. No surprise, joggers are a bloody menace.
Edit: some of my best friends are joggers

Games: Came 2nd in an NP2 15 player game - AoW3 for 30m, before I sacked it off because my eyes were... err... on the blink. TV: Elementary S7E8... I'm spinning this out, as it's bloody good. Castle - had quick reprise of S1E1... I'll probably not bother ... Chore Bore otherwise Nursey is here; time for my mauling The mentalist and unforgettable are now both on Amazon if any use? If things are getting bad death in paradise is knocking about on Netflix I think. |

Morning Everyone! I have a cold, which may yet turn out to be fatal, so I'm working from bed.
I have not yet been electrocuted.
I have a treat jar full of chocolate bars, but I do not usually eat them, as I am a normal adult with normal adult tastes, not a sugar-guzzling child. I think we have several Toffee Crisps at the moment, but I'm all like whatevs.
Amipal has based his life on the plot of The Money Pit?
