If you do a search on YouTube for 'Fast and Furious 6 The Rock Best scene'. You will see my workplace. In an alternative reality Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson enters the building and delivers a bone-crushing handshake to a pen-pushing jobsworth.

I can't feel scandalised by the Spotify / Joe Rogan thing. I didn't even know who Joe Rogan was / is.
There's loads of stuff on Spotify I don't agree with, and Netflix and Now TV and Amazon Prime. Where do you stop?
I don't blame Neil Young for pulling his stuff, but I don't feel in any sort of moral quandary for keeping a subscription ...

I went through a phase a few weeks ago of listening to a podcast on Marxism by David Harvey. Some of it was pretty interesting but you could say that a lot of what Marx wrote isn't that relevant today. And there are people who will say his ideas were dangerous, because of the practices and political systems they were bent towards. There is also some insane nonsense on Unexplained / Cryptozoology podcasts. I'm glad it's there ...
I suppose you could say lives weren't lost because of a Marxism or cryptozoology podcast, but to a certain degree you have to hope people will make up their own minds, about vaccines. Maybe? If you follow the Pied Piper of foolishness then be prepared to follow him to your doom.
I mean you could say that a streaming platform is a platform for a diversity of ideas ...

Lord alone knows what I am having for lunch when I get there. Probably butternut squash soup and Marmite flatbreads... hmm... not sure that those go with the soup. And greek yoghurt - apparently ordinary yoghurt doesn't have enough protein. - I'm doing chores, just taking a v. short prevarication break, as yesterday's visit by Torquemada fucked my legs more than usual... and to make some more moves in a hilarious NP2 game where my 'allies' decided to leave me fighting 4 enemies on my own at tick 50. Obviously expecting my growth to be reversed to decline. I've wiped one of them, forced another to drop out and its successor AI has gone rabid, making random attacks on its previous allies. That's also cut off a third from the front. 🤣 My line is the white line Finally, while Gove is levelling things up, perhaps he should start with himself so he can get out of BoJo's anus. |
