I think I could accommodate up to 6 young, naive traumatised Ukrainian students. If that doesn't work out I would be prepared to accept Russian ones. Ivan, Vladimir, Andrei, Dmitriy, Nikolay and Sergei are on their way buddy. |

GTA5
I tried it on PS5 last night briefly.
It was disappointing.
There was very noticeable frame stuttering and a slowdown in the first scene.
Also when I tried to reload the game crashed.
Maybe a patch will fix this, but it seemed pretty poor for a PS3 game on PS5.
At the moment I am well on course to not play GTA V on PS3, PS4 and PS5.
Elden Ring
I think I may be ready to take on a mini-boss or two. Difficult to tell. I tried before and the result was disappointing.
Some dog thing stomped all over me after I got him to half health.

Well, that new Monster Hunter Elden Ring expansion sure looks nice.
I liked that they named the voice actors when introducing the new characters. That should become a regular thing.

Anyone pumped about the new Fortnite update?
I didn't know there was one until ten minutes ago. I have been playing quite a lot of it. Maybe ... too much? Actually not that much - but a lot yesterday. Five hours. I feel like I've been bingeing on WHAM bars.

I like Fortnite. I can't help it. I was pretty heroic in the games we played last night. Heroically building walls as I ran backwards. Throwing up wall after wall after wall.
I like that there are now earthquakes. Wondering if there will be some sort of monster emerging from under the island.
I hope so ...

It cost me about £7.35* with the discount from Shop To for buying digital cash. I thought Rockstar needed the money. I only played for a few minutes, but the frame rates were all over the place and the game crashed more than once. I have not completed the story. I may do one day. I presume it can be patched out, but for it shouldn't be there in the first place. * pus the rest of the money I will waste at some point. |

Saw my first bumblebee of 2022. I saw a massive one the other day. I heard what sounded like scratching coming from the other room - it genuinely sounded like there was someone else in the flat. I went in and felt immediately ill at ease, then registered this deep almost inaudible hum: It was a big bumble-bee - double size. I think it was a queen, just hovering around by the window. I gently encouraged it to leave. The flat is not a place for bees. |
