I'm feeling jumbled up. Like someone has pressed the button on the fruit machine of my consciousness, and the fruits have all landed in different places. I blame some of it on Diplomacy, some of it on my recent trip to the west midlands, and some of it on ... work.
The pm is away this weekend. A part of me wants to go somewhere myself.
I don't know where. Maybe I should take a trip ... to the centre of my mind: Procure some soft drugs and curl up on the sofa. I mean curl up in the foetal position.
On Saturday I'm scheduled to play three hours of Fortnite with my friend in New Zealand. Maybe that will put things right.
I don't know.

I met a friend and had a few beers, got back* and went for another in my local and got into a conversation with someone who told me I was a good person and didn't look my age, which was nice, previous to that their opening gambit was about their father dying recently, their girlfriend dying in a car crash and how they felt it difficult to meet people.
I suggested that they tone down the opening chat.
The weird thing was on an emotional level I could click, then they started about how good BJ was and what was my opinion of Thatcher and that Churchill was a Great Prime Minister, I made my excuses and left.
My take is that politics fucks everything**.
*the journey was about 1hr 30mins
