I bought a fancy new electric toothbrush. Absolute gamechanger - my teeth feel unbelievably smooth after using it. Still, probably too little too late.

The problem with new teeth is that you might start flashing them like Greg Wallace. I would wish to stay modest.

Weekend chat - went for a big long walk at Canonteign Falls on Saturday. Highest waterfall in England, I’ll have you know. Yes, so what if it’s man made?
Sunday was a write off. Had plans to go out for a walk, which were ruined by one of the dogs being sick in the bed, leading to having to wash duvets and sheets, and general chaos leading to a whole lost day. Great fun.
Anybody want a dog?

Apparently the Division 2 has just launched a new raid. Just as I uninstalled. Smh. They're doing it quietly as it involves a nuclear power station. Wonder why? Pretty lucky for me then, having installed it yesterday. |

Been a while (pre pm), but a couple of BLT rolls on a Sunday morning in bed followed by another nap is tremendous. In these days of Uber Eats etc you don't even have to get up and go get.

I complain to my hair dresser that my hair grows so thick and long and I have to keep getting it cut. He just looks bemused that I complain about such a thing seeing as he's bald. |

Are you sure? My LG 43" LED TV is a "G" energy rating and uses a load more juice than my 55"* LG OLED TV; i.e. they vary Our ancient LG uses 150w apparently. Which is 0.15 kWh. The 40"/43" inch TV's I'm looking at are between 65kWh/1000h and 108kWh/1000h. So by my terrible sums that's 65w and 108w instead of the 150w we're already using. If you also factor in the TV having iPlayer etc then we won't be using a separate box for streaming. |

On Saturday I had my first encounter with Dead by Daylight in the shape of a Twitch stream. I know there are those who really love that game, but like similar multiplayer horror survival offerings it just leaves me cold, and that's not just because it takes such a long time to get the stupid generators going. Just playing virtual horror themed tag. Makes me feel old and jaded.
Much more fun last night with the weekly Sunday stream of Trails in the Sky SC that lasted a modest 5 hours. We finished filling in the fish journal which makes me want to take the lot to Blathers and donate it to the museum.

My Google Pixel XL phone has finally died. It started freezing and rebooting and now it either goes into a reboot loop or, if it does load, it freezes almost immediately.
Jeff is delivering me a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro tomorrow.
