Is that younger than you? No. T.Y. is already 53. I'm not 53 for at least 7 weeks, 1 day. Thats a bizarre coincidence, by a small 2week 6day later discrepancy, exactly a decade separates us.
What was the world like in the 60s Crank?

Morning Everyone! I am once again severely, possibly fatally, ill with a mild cold. Still can't pass a Covid test.
Games: some Duos, whatever, what Sheep said.

I'm 92 years old next week, far too old to be bothering making up lies about my age, that sort of stuff is for whippersnappers in their 5th decade.

Morning
Day 2 (TWO) of my week at the Gold Coast. Just got back to my lodgings after a day in Scarborough. The highlight being inhaling Jumbo haddock, chips and mushy peas on the seafront. Which were covered in lashings of salt n vinegar. I also spent about Β£10 on the two-penny falls in the amusements to win a skateboard shaped keyring and a Minions eraser. Yeah!
Now for a nap before an evening of beer and reading. I've started the first book in Stephen Kings Dark Tower box set I got for Christmas. The Gunslinger.
I also have a sea view so can see out for miles with my Binno's. No sign of any Russian warships, but we're talking to each other in Morse code just in case. Loose lips sink ships.
Hope you're all well. Shame about Shenguin being dead.

What was the world like in the 60s Crank? They say that if you remember the 60s you weren't really there. I don't remember. But I was only 6 and a bit months when they ended.

At line 3, I'd very quickly eliminated a huge number of word. But getting from there to the last line was a bastard, because I could NOT stop my mind incorporating letters that I had already eliminated. I ralphed

Shame about Shenguin being dead. It took a while to persuade the Pref.Mam. that if you are in a seaside town you have to have Fish and Chips. It was wonderful. I must admit I feel a little bit sad about Shenguin's passing, but life must go on. Did they have anything worth coveting?

I remember bits of the seventies and I was 3.5 at the end of the 60's, strangely my first ever memory was 5 November 1969, I was at a very large Bonfire for guy Fawkes night everything was bigger at that age.

Try sandybahookie - I believe he does T-Shirt printing... perhaps Destry could design the print and we could do a bulk order?
