I liked that game of Diplomacy, though I didn’t really do much. Mucked about in and around France. Threatened Chumbles, then rolled over and showed him my soft belly. I was convinced Turkey was Tenthen. I don’t know why now … Once more I get mistaken for Shenguin. Happens a lot in Dip. As have you if your behaviour is comparable to Shenguin. |

Just discovered there are new episodes of Time Team on YouTube, last year and this year. How did I not know about this.That's me sorted for a few hours. No Phil Harding or Tony Robinson though? A pale facsimile. As long as the archeology is good I can live without the celebrities. |

I think I maybe prefer the bigger maps. The modern Europe one is good, as is the world one. It just needs people prepared to ready their moves to move the game on ... There's nothing to stop you setting one up! |

Thanks, whatalark - I'll have a look at the new Time Team tonight; although I am pretty shattered, so may settle for something brainless. More treatment tomorrow and my toes have not healed at all from Friday's butchery. I spent ca. 7h splitting my time between chores, a little Elementary, and a lot of ship redirection in NP2 as I hunt down win 84... and having the phone on hold listening to "We value your call, you're number 18 in the queue." Ho hum. Incidentally, fellow Diplomacy players, there are 2 reasons why I don't Ready up - either I'm being mauled about (usually on a Tuesday or a Friday), or I'm waiting for some oik to reply. |
