I reckon we'll be having a general election soon.
- No leadership challenge
- The economy will be considerably worse in 15 months or so. Best either lose now and have Labour deal with the crash or have it happen in the early part of a new Parliament if you win.
If this seems odd just remember, Boris is akin to Trump, he's not a politician in the sense of having a commited alignment with a party, he's a wannabe monarch. No loyalty to anyone.

Nothing matters. One of our cats died and I am bereft. I may hate almost all people, but I love animals. He was diagnosed with cancer and died the same day when we brought him home. I loved the wee lad, he parted too soon.

Nursie arrived, tortured me, slooowly and methodically.., legs usual agony, but I don't allow myself to relax until I have cleared and cleaned. 35m of shouting I get to the end reward myself with a coffee, post the advert, munch a toasted finest hot cross bun and pass out...
Wake up; leg shooting pains; soaking wet side - have I pissed myself? Nope. Bloody remains of coffee has siphoned up the straw and onto the bed. Stripped me, the bed, started first load of laundry and cleaned / carpet washed the floor, made the bed - all while trying to calm down. Not successful - check games - effing Tau Zero about to start, whining cunts in the Diplomacy complaining - tough titties you wannabe world warlords, some of us don't march to the beat of your drum.
Quick flick through here... Time passes... second load on. I'm going to risk a coffee and possibly look at a bad business, but don't count on it.

Diplomacy
It's good to be able to get the moves and diplomacy done in the 12 hours that don't run overnight. And you can retreat and do builds in a matter of minutes.
That's just my take. I don't want a fight.
I do appreciate, of course, that it benefits smaller alliances when the moves do run overnight because there's less co-ordination to do. But it's entering the world of shadows and dark sorcery.

Almost enough to have a brave, new hope that the electorate of England are turning their back on the Tories and then later on have that hope crushed when they return them to power at the next General Election.
