Morning all, Do we have any Xcom 2 experts here? Run straight in the middle of the map and get blasting/blasted. No cover is your friend. Question about bluescreen rounds, will they do any damage to organics? I assume they just do standard damage?

Standard, yeah. +5 damage to mechanical enemies, and will also disable any shields made by shieldbearers

Morning all, Do we have any Xcom 2 experts here? Shoot at aliens point blank with a 95% chance to hit and still miss, standard tactics. Xcom 2 is ok, didn't enjoy it as much as the first one. And neither are as good as UFO: Enemy Unknown because as we all know that is the finest game ever produced.

Last night I ate a whole large tub of Jalapeno Hummus.
This morning I have some very alarming gurgling noises from the belly, along with weapons-grade farts.
These 2 things may be possibly related.
Tomorrow I have to drive a hired car to that there Bristol, via that there London, with my boss. The temptation to have another tub of the fiery bean goop tonight is strong.

hi
I got home and fell asleep last night. Then I opened the fridge and spent a really long time wondering what to eat. In the end I fried some potato, mushroom and asparagus, and added butter, with a spring onion garnish. I'm not being completely honest ... I also put cucumber on the side ...
Then I watched Journeyman - the film by and starring Paddy Considine. It was good.
I futzed around for a bit after this, and, after 30 minutes of a documentary on whaling in the Azores, plumped for a Steward Lee comedy programme I had never seen before. Then I went to bed ...

Future Mrs Fark has gone to London for the Chelsea Flower Show and a 3 day pissup/Hen do.
I have been left to look after the kids and my parents have come up to help. They are good at bringing me cups of tea, which helps.

Do you like butter?
I got some unpasteurised butter from the supermarket the other day. But now I don't want to eat it. Unpasteurised seems great for a foetid putrid cheese, but I wouldn't want butter to be foetid or putrid.
What an error.

Who wants monkeypox when we can bring back good old British cowpox and none of that foreign stuff.

So everyone else got an invite for Farks stag do, just not me? Charming. It has already happened. It took place outside the Travel Lodge at Meadowhall where we all huffed paint thinner by the bins. Someone produced a weather beaten 1997 Mayfair magazine so all the usual bases were covered.

Depending on your age (born before mid-80s, I believe) you've probably been innoculated against cowpox, as you will have had the very unpleasant smallpox vaccination...
Anyway I am here to admit my shame ...

Bovine TB somehow sounds worse than ordinary TB. I trust Waitrose though. They wouldn't do me wrong. Would they?

I had - for lunch - some steamed brown rice with butter, and kimchi, with a spring onion garnish. The kimchi was at a pretty advanced state of fermentation I think. When I opened the jar it fizzed and bubbled like a bottle of coke. It tasted nice ...

This is gripping stuff. Will Crank still go in, or will he do the decent thing and fuck off home? I'd left my work laptop in the office. So I'm here. Rolling -dont know if you bought a spare dualsense or not? Jeff has them for £46 today - three quid cheaper than Sony as part of the days of play sale. In natty colours as well.
Good stuff - will investigate.

I travelled on the new, London Underground, Elizabeth Line yesterday. Made for Her Majesty, in UKIP purple.
It was pretty fast. Smelled faintly of sewage.

I shall shell out 200 sobs to the DVLA for 6 months car tax, for a car I can't actually drive due to dodgy eyeballs. 'sovs' - pounds sterling. Though I imagine much sobbing will be involved. I am sobbing now. Also, google is wrong, it's sobs.

Spotify is trying to push something on me called 'Chill Mix'. I really think it should be called 'Chilled Mix'. or 'Chilled Out Mix'.

Chill just means cold, surely. 'There is a chill wind'. 'It was a chill winter night'.
Whereas chilled means something has been 'put on ice' / cooled down. Relaxed.
That's my take anyway ...

'A compilation of relaxing songs' would be better. Or maybe 'A collection of songs we think are relaxing. Why not try them and see what you think'.
