You all saw the warning I gave Sheep? God rest their soul. His, not their. I am a cisgendered male and comfortable with it. Also its if we want a gender neutral pronoun. I am singular. An atheist as well. I don't believe in the 'soul'. Or god. I can accept both as an easy concept to talk about, as part of how people think, but no more. What we got here is everything. Don't live like a different life is going to be more important.

I might have told the story before how the Pref. Mam. and I were supposed to pick up his nephew's possessions and store them over the summer hols and how we went straight to Warwick where we only found a castle and were informed of the whereabouts of the university. But I'm now frightened of Felice's Pref. Mam.

My partner went to Warwick Uni, though dwelled in Leamington Spa. I didn’t know her at the time though.
She does a very good Coventry-old-man impression.

Hi
I'm crippled by indecision. I've not even put the disque in yet and I can't decide whether to start with A New Hope or The Phantom Menace.
I think I'll wait for faceless to advise on this one.
OTTM, 13.5 hours to go..

Are you intending to watch every film? Starting with The Phantom Menace makes sense if so. You can watch them all and have the three decent films in the middle. Otherwise you backload 6 pretty awful films. If you are undecided just watch 4,5,6 and stop there.

I was meaning the lego game.
Also, out of the 3 x trilogy episodes (films), I haven't yet watched the last one, Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker.
Or Mandalorian. I decided to draw the line on too many subs, but I think Netflix is heading for the bin so I can get disney.

You know that the second line doesn't make the first one true? Can you lay out your thinking? The first line is true. Kind of … Something called the Dark Enlightment. A bad business.

I'd start with the oldest game. They probably added features to each sequel.

RIP Jim Parks, who was bowled out for 90 today. He was a breath of fresh air in the '60s; and even though I was an enthusiastic proponent of JT Murray for the job as England wicketkeeper, Parks was great to watch against the Windies and Aussie quickies.

I haven't yet watched the last one, Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker. I didn’t think it could get worse than The Last Jedi. Then I watched The Rise of Skywalker... Good lord.

I still don’t understand why people hate The Last Jedi so much.
I really liked it, although … Luke dying from exhaustion was no good. Like father like son I suppose.

I’d have liked Rise of Skywalker more if Rey would have been more accepting of her Palpatine lineage. Maybe she could have changed what people thought they knew about Palpatine.

LB is right on the money... lazybones you are right on the money. Better SW stories exist in the games and some of Zahn's Thrawn graphic novels are excellent - This one is exceptional with some great voice acting.

Iirc Leamington Spa used to have the only branch of Fopp in England, before its ill -advised expansion c.1999 leading to its near demise.*
Coventry chat!
*(Fopp's, not England's).

Exactly. Anyone with access to Google can see that during the 1987 cup final, which "Coventry" "won", the corner flags are perfectly still the whole game. And supposed hero "Keith houchen" hasn't been seen since. It's not hard to join the dots. I saw Keith Houchen play for Hibs a few times. He was undoubtedly a crisis actor.
