Is it now impossible to adopt a British dog? I see another foreign puppy/dog has come over to our great British homes, although it seems that you have too many conditions to get one from a uk charity. Sister got one from Romania, have you done a doggy dna test to see what was out there fathering things in the mix?

What does that make Sheep's 1/6 score? Pure skill. I saw Shenguin's score and guessed what his first two words were. This ruled in two letters and ruled out 8. There was only one vowel and it was unlikely there was a y. I then spent ages trying to think of a word that fitted before coming up with 1. There was a second word which also fitted, but I didn't think of that. I was hoping for a two and was surprised when I hit the jackpot. There have been some questions asked about the ethical standards of trying to use someone else's guess as a starting point. But, frankly, these came from someone who did not score a 1 today (or any other day). Jealousy is such an ugly emotion. |

I'm still sad that my Majora's Mask totally not a Chinese knock off phone case (pictured below) faded through wear and tear and is no longer available (presumably due to the Nintendo ninjas getting on their... wait for it... case). I used to be able to scare small children by simply getting my phone out.  |

What’s happening?
We went for a big walk up a mountain. It might have been a hill. Maybe a munroe.
I felt weak. It was as if my legs were milk bottles, decanted of all milk. A bit later I felt as if they were made of tremulous gelatine.
I’m now drinking. I’m feeling as if my whole body is made of tremulous gelatine.

My friend very kindly popped in to do a couple of things and he agreed to try and defrost my freezer and sort out my printer and Tenda mesh setup on Wednesday. He elected to examine this tonight against my urging to leave it until then; he proceeded to disconnect both the mesh router and VM router / modem. It took him 2h to get it all back to where it was... and he hadn't a clue as to why it started working again!
Just finished my belated cottage pie; time for a post prandial snooze

I forgot to report on last night's gaming stream. The Sunday stream game was one of my favourite video game titles, Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE. Yet another game from my bloated backlog, sigh. Think Persona with more song & dance and Fire Emblem characters and classes. Great game if you like that kind of thing.
The original Japanese version has gone through a lot of weird, some might even say unnecessary censorship over the years, including the removal of what the internet has dubbed "vagina bones" (not a medical term, as Dr Shenguin will confirm) from one of the main characters. (It has been pointed out that this puzzling piece of censorship had also been applied to the Switch version of the game while Link in Breath of the Wild was allowed to keep his vagina bones. So much for equal opportunity, Nintendo.) For yesterday's playthrough Andrew went through the trouble of ripping the (censored) game of the disc, applying a patch that restored the original version and then playing it off an SD card. The loading times were terrible but at least all vagina bones were on full display. Down with censorship!
