This looks pretty ... NB This is NOT F1 2022 (the EA *spit*/codemasters game), but Frontiers F1 Manager 22, who now have a Steam sale on... Very pretty indeed. Wish you could just delete drivers from games though. I fucking hate Verstappen, and even just racing against a digital version of the aggravating wee prick winds me up. ... Aye, peak Melvazord, I know. I'm actually a lot less angry than when I was younger, there's a good chance now I'll hit 50 before something in my brain bursts so hard it blows the side of my skull off.

Hello! I've just been for a 60 mile bike ride. I feel like I could accomplish anything now, at least within the spectrum of things that can be achieved while slumped comatose on a sofa.
Ganes: the Ring. It's still got its hooks in me though it's getting pretty effing hard now.
Telly: finished Severance. It was good, but the satire was extremely heavy handed and the big twist was revealed 2 episodes before the end. I dunno. 4 stars.

Hello! I've just been for a 60 mile bike ride. *doffs hat*
That is actually impressive. Well done.
(For once, I'm not taking the piss).
Just this once though, normal piss taking will resume in 3,2,1...

If your listening to cricket on catch up it's going great isn't it? If listening live it's a bit the opposite apparently.

Roast chicken for dinner tonight. Enough leftover for risotto tomorrow.
Babyfark - just a heads up, there's a couple of orange walks in town tomorrow. I'm assuming you're coming up tomorrow. Probably gone by the time you get here tbf but just in case. Cunts.
Also the Subbie is Harri & Domenic all night til 4am if your out out, Craig Moog is on at La Cheetah on Sat as well. That's yer two best options imho. Unless of course your pals are Metal heads.
Just had a wee post dinner nap on the couch. It's come to that.

Not wanting to overly pry, and feel free to just tell me to fuck off, but are you able to leave the house at all? It's a real shame that you're actually restricted and yet choose to hang around this place full of folk who have chosen to be sad shut ins.

Playing fall guys duos. Frustrating fun People are idiots though. They jump on a seesaw knocking everyone off themselves included instead of waiting and having a better chance. Is it playable on the Switch then? I saw lots of whining on Reddit. When has there ever been a time on Reddit without whining? For the first time I played as part of a 4 squad last night. One on PC, one on PS4 or 5, can't remember, one on I don't know, probably PC, and me on Switch. We had no issues. I also played various modes on my own and had no problems except for the game getting stuck on the loading screen at one point. Just restarted, no big deal. My understanding is that they released a patch recently that addressed a lot of issues across all platforms, including graphical glitches on the Switch but also fixed more serious problems like voice chat not working on PS5. Considering how busy the servers must be now that the game is free and with crossplay on all platforms I find it surprising that there haven't been more hiccups.

Seems obvious now that you mention it. Sometimes the answer is staring you right in the face. It's really rude. You've guessed the bottom right on line 3, even though you didn't have enough information at that point to gamble on a guess, rather than putting in a word that would give you significantly more information. If you'd played safe, and put in 15 different letters in your first three guesses, including 5 vowels, y, and 9 common consonants, then I would have backed you to finish in 7. That's what you could have done differently, rather than seeking the glory of a 3, 4, 5, 6.

Turns out that most of the common consonants I guessed weren't part of the solution. So Sheep's advice is still better than yours. Doesn't come as surprise, since you also thought it a good idea to shoot your teammate in Fortnite.

Interesting, but missing the games that I really would be interested in. TBH, it would not be that much different to doing what I do now. It's the social part that I miss... Seeing a couple of human beings for only 3h of torture and, say, 20m of receiving deliveries a week is a bit tough - for 8 years. How I laughed during lockdown when folk were complaining about a couple of months of lack of social contact. What games are you interested in? And if you say monopoly you're dead to me. Not wanting to overly pry, and feel free to just tell me to fuck off, but are you able to leave the house at all? The games I used to play were 1829, Cosmic Encounter, Britannia, Elefanten Parade (the earlier version), etc. and several card games: Armchair Cricket, Gegenwind and Ogallala... Going 'outside' on my own is both problematic and risky; it's an ambulance if I fall over as I can't get off the ground and besides vertigo the massive ulceration on my legs makes getting special sandals on a 2-man job; 'dressing' for public consumption takes me 45m! There's quite a few other problemettes which together make, for example, a trip to a hospital for a 30m consultation at least a 4-5h process, with preparing for it another couple of hours; and that hospital is only 2miles away... edit: That is grim, and it's certainly frustrating as hell, but I have two things to be glad of. Firstly is that I am much tougher than I realised... in 2014 when my legs were so bad that I despaired of getting out of hospital alive. After a few days of the blackest depression, I told myself that being depressed was stupid - if I was going to die I might as well enjoy myself as much as I could. I decided to cheek the nurses, talk to and try and help the staff and the other patients. Fuck death, I thought, you're going to have to try a bit harder than that. Since then I haven't got depressed. There's simply no point in it. And the second thing I am grateful for is games and the people that play them*. If you take the time to talk to folk you're playing with, the great majority of gamers - especially in strategic games tend to be good people. And games that challenge my mind help to stop me fixating on your problems...

As far as the origin of this word it makes sense given the USA and it's mixed society, as for the word itself it has at least two uses in US culture that I can think of that mean something to an American citizen. I like Monopoly. Good game. Lots of chance, lots of acquisition, lots of acrimony.
But you can’t say that nowadays.
When the pandemic measures began in 2020 I got 90 percent towards inventing a board game: Magic Trees. It was 90 percent shite.
