Oh Lordy, it's the 12th July. I think I'll play Forza with my cans on for a bit. Is it marching season there too? Or does the PM have her own wee march round the living room / get you to march round the living room while she throws things at you? Marching is confined to NI and the West of Scotland. If there are bonfires in Plymouth it's likely just to be burning out stolen cars.

Good morning,
Is gameschat still a thing? If so, then yes, I've been playing a games. Man of Medan. It's one of the PS+ games this month. An interactive horror story in the same vein as Until Dawn. It's not bad.
4 stars, apart from the jump scares

I bet crank hates the kids groups if he is allowed to work with children. I believe children are the future. I'm PVG checked thank you very much. When I started I used to work split shifts - and every Fri 5pm to 8pm I worked in the junior library. Parents would either be downstairs in the adult library with kids upstairs, or kids would come in themselves. Which usually meant at some point a kid randomly in Tesco would say hello to me, as their parents dragged them off asking who the strange man was.

Morning. Also in the early risers club, as needed to get pupster to the vets for his de-balling. 40 min wait before the surgeon saw us. Quick fondle around the dogs' backend and he suggests we go home and come back in a couple of months as there were signs that at least one of his 2-Veg was showing signs of possibly putting in a delayed appearance. Ho-hum. Not sure i can be arsed explaining to work why i was an hour late logging on. Might just say i overslept.... They will believe that one.

She may be having her own wee shindig. Can't say if she burns out cars or not. Tbf, both sides did that there and she could be feeling homesick.

Tids should protect the Subaru today then. It would be unfortunate if it ended up burnt out or filled with fertiliser.

MOT tomorrow morning.

Split shifts were an absolute bastard at times - in libraries near a park and or shopping centre at least you could do something with the time. However, when I was Branch Librarian at Stanwell library on a rough housing estate with a few shitty shops I used to push 2 chairs together in my office and try and sleep. But two of my staff could never resist coming in and asking questions. TBF, on occasion they were genuinely scared because the rough teenage kids would sneak in and start acting up. Which was why I couldn't leave the place. Worst of all was when I ran a couple of WEA courses, as by the time I had finished the last bus had gone. Sleeping on a table in the stacks was really unpleasant, as I could hear the kids selling each other stuff while drinking cheapo quarts of cider. Most nights someone would piss up against the side of the building, chuck a few stones against the shatterproof double glazed windows, try the locks. By the time the morning came I would be totally knackered and another 9h of running a library whilst acting as classroom monitor after school's chucked out followed. Apart from one cracking, voluptuous 19y old trying to get me into the stacks (or maybe because of that) I was glad when I got promoted out of there. As I was 7y older than her, scandal was a strong possibility! She signed up for every course I ran "Science Fiction and the History of Tomorrow" was one of the courses which two of my friends were attending as well and the wife of the couple kept urging me to err act on the obvious attraction! But it would have been professional suicide!

Sheep2 has trampled the legitimate and peaceful concerns of the Protestant community. Not only are his comments arrogant. They are insulting.

Anyone watching/listening to the cricket?
I approve of this new half-day-international format. England managed the full 25 overs with panache. What? Oh.

What are we doing today? Sectarianism and sticky Gong? That seems normal.
I'm sweaty and sticky because it's hot and I work hard. The other side are sticky and sweaty because they are filthy scum.

I fell asleep for 30m after a very late lunch - too hot to eat* - and not changing position sank me into my plastic airbed., as it pulses and conforms to my body. So the heat just concentrates there... I cannot think at all, even after a cold flannel bath. Because of the bandages I cannot shower otherwise... * had to gather willpower
