It depends on knowledge and recollection of 1980s beer brands and their associated advertising campaigns.
I’m asking too much …
Do you remember the beer in the 1980s that had an advert based on the idea, and line … ‘Sniff, Sip, Blow’?
I think it was based on the idea that, to drink this beer, you would ideally first take a sniff, then a sip, then you would blow the foam from the top. The voiceover may have been in a 1980s UK take on a German accent.
Is it lost in time?

Was it a German beer? The only ones I remember as available in the 1980s were Hofmeister, Becks and Holsten Pils I think.
There was not the variety you get today.

So if it was earlier it could have passed me by. I was able to get served in pubs from the Summer of 1988 which was a bonus. * some on holiday in Germany and France. |

This advert may have had a caricature of an elderly German man with a big walrus moustache.
Amsterdam is pretty good. Though I got a text message from my sister earlier and my spirits have begun to founder.
Phones are sort of awful. No escape - anywhere. Even on holiday anyone with your number can funnel words into your psyche.
