Morning. Didn't get in till late so not much gaming. Helped my pal do a delivery in GTA and then did one of mine. Then it was time for bed and no Division time unfortunately.
Heading into 3/4 of my day in meetings. First two are gdpr stuff where lots of actions will have my initials. I'm spoiled I tell you.
Hoping my mum's flat sale hasn't fallen through as "it's a cash sale" guy "hasn't been well and only got to see about a mortgage today". Hmmm. Sculduggery.

Morning
Came into office today to a scene similar to an explosion in a confetti factory. Turns out the boss has been planning to sell some leftover easter eggs donated to a charity to raise extra funds, so had stashed a box of 24 eggs under his desk. It turns out that rats like chocolate... a lot. The chocolate has gone, the foil is everywhere, and the cardboard has been shredded and mostly dragged into the underfloor ducting.
I for one welcome our new rodent overlords etc. We seem to be losing the war....

You may want to look in to that rat problem, Weil's disease is not fun. I have weird leprosy-like marks on my finger right now after another burning. It's not great for playing games and obviously this is why I have lost a lot at Fortnite lately. Saw some more Z nation and Lost in Space. Middling efforts all round.

Consumer electronics question. What's a good PS4 headset/mic to get? I am shopping at the inexpensive end of the market.

After a day of Uurrrrgghh I had an unusually productive evening, the highlight of which was probably - and I don’t want anyone to get over excited about this - successfully bodging my brolly handle back together with epoxy. 18 and a bit years and still going strong(ish). That’s value.
Elite! I’m basically in the interstellar equivalent of the north-west passage with a science-talking-guy who is poised on the very cusp of being ejected into a barren tract of deep space at the far end of one of the upper spiral arms of the galaxy, as the bastard is responsible for dragging me out here. 4 million zlotys isn’t worth this. There’s fuck all here - apart from a load of undiscovered gas giants with alien life, which should at least bring me some serious cash money.
It’s so grim it’s in danger of wearing out the black pixels in my telly.

I have no idea, but stereo headphones are useful in Fortnite for judging the location of noises, I found last night. I didn't talk to anyone as I was playing solo and my stereo cans don't have a mic.

Stealing Easter eggs from charities to sell on is pretty low. Particularly after Easter

Good morning, Last night I finished FFXV. It was ok, I'm glad I didn't waste 65 hours of my life on it though. What? Oh. What happened to the good old days where games didn't present you with a running total of how many hours you'd clocked up. What's next - an in-game list of all the things you could have been doing instead?
Dark Souls isn't out for another month or so, so maybe I'll use this as an opportunity to do something productive.
Fortnite any good?

It's probably soul crushingly difficult to get into now, but if you don't mind a very steep learning curve then I think it's worth it, particularly when you out-build someone or pull off a head shot. The game automatically saves every match and leaves them as clips for you as well.

I'm ok with it - he now has to pay the charity himself for all the eggs, and faces the humiliation of being bollocked by the office owners for leaving so much food on the floor after we all got warned about not leaving anything edible out.

It is a good job I have loads of self-discipline and wasn't playing Dark Souls on the PS3 until 2 a.m. Bed Of Chaos is an awful boss. Easily the worst in the entire series.

If anything, I'm getting worse at the game, not better. Best advice for new players is to use the pump shotgun where possible for close combat, with the AR for mid range. Pick up at least a hundred wood from trees before you set off from your landing area and try to travel to the new circles in a circular motion, not a straight line. Unless you really have no choice avoid the SMGs and pistols. The TAC shotgun and hand cannon are decent replacements for the pump shotgun if needed. Also, when someone shoots at you build a ramp toward them and travel up it for cover and to shoot them in the face from above. Also be sprinting or jumping. Never just stand still. However, most players are very good now and know what they are doing. Being able to handle bunny hoppers would be a massive boost.I have around 150 matches and only 40 kills. Not a single win outside 50 v 50.

Mornin'
Last night we got started on Ray Donovan S5 at last. We watched the previous series the moment it was on but 5 came when we ditched Sky for Now TV and we were too busy with other stuff. Anyway, it was excellent as always, consistently one of the best TV shows and deserves more credit and a wider audience. Liev Shreiber, Eddie Marsan and Jon Voight are incredible in it. Top, top TV.
There was also a bit of Divisioning to see the new Global Event. Helped a couple of lower level guys get a bit of gear, earned enough GE Credsfor a few Caches, done the Dailies etc. Good fun. I've given up pretending I care about other games now. This is my life now.

I am considering pitching to the Dragons a new range of Warfarin-laced chocolate treats, as we have already shown it to be a far more efficient bait than whatever crud they're already using in the many unused bait bins we have around the place - Who's in?

Afternoon all!
Got a fair bit gaming time on the division early on with the global event. It does seem a good way of getting classified gear. I'm pushing for striker gear as it's what I'm used to. Not sure it's great gear mind.
Ground out 3 caches, got knee pads twice. Nearly 3 hours grinding for that. This is my life.
Thanks wee- event does seem pretty fun, total blackout took a while to get used to but it's good to speed through levels. It's very satisfying charging to full and smacking down one of the bullet sponges in one hit.
I'll keep bullfrog then, still putting all the optimisation into my showstopper, only at 206 GP so who knows how long that's going to take me. I'm swimming in DivTech, it's the cash money's I can't get.
