The Division was glitching last night. At one point I was 5417th in the queue to get in the servers. Incroyable! A testament to how it's still rather popular though. @bloggie Are you in WT5 yet? If you can get on it, that'll sort your gearing issues out especially during the GE. Also, pro tip here, don't buy a cache then open it straight away. Save them all up and open in a oner. Ideally you want more than 10 to open as, for some reason, RNGesus looks after you more that way and you get better loot. I don't understand why but that's the opinion of the community and who am i to argue with internet people?
My internet was sketchy for chunks too so I tried some NHL 18 courtesy of EA Access. The last training exercise almost made me snap the controller in rage. Unpossible stuff. We go again.
I also watched 2 episodes of Ray Donovan S5. So, so good.

Didn't get in till 10 last night.
No games, no TV, no reading, just bed.

To add to Bloggies conments from yesterday - yeah the £20 deal for the division and all add-ons is a good deal and lots of fun. I was tempted with the half price gta's from last gen as I never played them but I've sworn not to buy any games until I complete some of the backlog I'm being strong and stable.

Played Mad Max last night, clearing some stashes and taking down scarecrows. Really need to get the story moving, mind.
Also started watching Friday Night Dinner - rather good, isn't it?

Morning.
Picked up a new car yesterday. Did some shopping on the way back, and as we were leaving the supermarket a car reversed into ours.
Great start.
Fortunately the incident left only the teensiest mark. Could be worse. The car dealer had gone to put some fuel into the new vehicle and reported that at the petrol station the glass had been completely smashed up. A robbery? No, a woman hadn't realised that her brand new BMW wasn't in neutral, and it went forward through the window. Oops.
As for Mr Enemy, who was driving, his ears are still ringing after failing to notice that that car was reversing and not reacting when I told him twice to stop because I could already see what was coming.
I'm such a great backseat driver. Also Mariokart. I've won the 200cc Banana Cup and all.

I’ve sacked off this idiot explorer’s mission and I’m now trying to get back to the bubble. It’s so far beyond my galactic map’s route plotting ability, it’s like using fucking Bing. I had to resort to individual 40ly jumps and hope I didn’t get stuck in a dead end.
I still haven’t decided whether or not to simply eject the bugger into space.

Morning all
Games! Hoped for some 4-man PUBG but squad was full so went solo - oof it showed. Ridiculous headshot from some random I never even saw halfway across the map, closely followed next game by a promising run to the top 10, only to die in comedic fashion when I accidentally remapped my gamepad mid game and got stuck in a doorway. My killers deathcam was frankly hilarious. To avoid the hatrick of disasters I gave up PUBG and dusted off Wreckfest for a couple of hours happy destruction derbying.
Rat Chat! - Yes there's more... After satisfying their sweet teeth yesterday, they found their way into our trainees' family size bag of crisps last night. Nice neat hole in the bottom of the bag..... un-noticed until he picked them up and remnants cascaded everywhere. I sense they are evolving.....

I know you don't want to particularly go down the 'spreadshit' route of playing, but there was a pretty useful website for plotting long exploration runs. It would send you to scoopable stars, where available, so you don't end up stranded. I'll see if I can find it again. |

A quick look on during exam studying. No gaming/drinking/TV/fun for me. Though The chat yesterday was like a primer for my studying.
Top marks for whoever mooted ketamine coffee. It turns out Ketamine is very good at lifting depression very quickly and might be used in the future to treat people who are suicidal (another not very interesting fact that nobody wants to now). So get a patent on that pronto.
And on that note I'm off to have a cheese sandwich and some tap water.

The problem isn’t so much the lack of scoopable stars, but the lack of stars in general. There’s bugger all up here to hop betewen - I’m 2000 ly up and out from the bubble, about 4000 ly above and a little behind Barnards Loop - right where it all goes black. I’ve been down a load of possibilities and they’re all literal dead ends; one star to jump to and that’s it. In a stripped back mostly D rated Asp* with an engineered A FSD and only a couple of data caches in the inventory, so I’m getting about 41ly out of it. It’s this bloody ridiculous passenger that’s the problem. *Rick Aspley. I’m quite happy with that one. |

Hi all,
Been playing farcry5 but run out of interest in any of the story halfway through the second area (Faiths territory). There a fair bit about the gameplay that I really like but the whole arcade section seems a waste of time. I would have preffered an actual arcade game.
In more exciting news McCoys have a competition to find the 'golden crisp' and win £10k, it wasnt in the first two packets Ive eaten this morning but I think this is a competition I could win.
