I also have a collection of Womble songs safely on two separate hard drives. The result of growing up in the 1970s and buying stuff on Amazon while in enhanced mode. It's not the worst music I own by some distance. |

amipal. Did you get your motor(s) back today? I have! VW dealerships in Sussex are operated by a firm called Caffyns. Before I had the Kia Sportage, I had three VWs: a Polo, a MkIV Golf, and a MkV Golf Tdi. Previous services at Hove and Haywards Heaths dealerships were… not great. A complete lack of managing expectations. So I booked it in with the Worthing branch (where I bought it from). I’m happy to report that Caffyns’ customer service is exactly the same there as it is in the other two locations. |

It took me years to find a garage I liked and trusted. Best of all, Mr Carlyle was literally half the price and twice as good as the main VW dealership who were bloody lax about checking their own work. And they would never go beyond the bare minimum. They did have a comfortable waiting room with great coffee. I initially kept with them when I got the Polo because of the terms of the warranty. Mr C. on doing a full service found 3 separate things three of which would have developed into serious, expensive faults and as one was a v slow, but steady leak from the brake hydraulics that the main dealer dealt with by topping up fluids that might have actually killed me as it was from a secondary seal...
Shop around, find a good one and stick with them.

Kia Pyecombe were very good.
On the plus side, any work I’ve had done over the last seven years has been done either under warranty or as part of a service plan. Pure profit.
