I have started watching Supernatural. I'm on ep 5 of 327. Hmm. Worth watching? I have access to it, but I dunno. I've finished Rings of Power and I loved it. Just leave your preconceptions behind... If you liked The X Files then it's worth a try. However I'm only 1% of the way through so, who knows? * * I'm sure people here know |

Afternoon all!
Yesterday, a friend and I went up to London* for this year’s uk.shooters’ Halloween Meetup.
I drove there and back, and while the journey up was alright, the return leg at night was less so. I blame it on my mate wanting to get food from the Lakeside** food-court.
Anyway, the shoot itself was great. I think there were around twelve models in Halloween garb, all professionally done-up*** by MUAs****.
I came away with 1845 shots in the bag. Which I thought was a lot for roughly three-hours of continuous portrait photography.
Then my mate announced that he took 4381… good lord…
*Wapping Hydraulic Power Station to be exact.
**Big shopping centre, full of east Londoners and Essex “people”.
***That’s the proper description for it.

All in good time, sir… I’ve got all the shots imported into Lightroom, and have started to add keywords for metadata. Then I need to “pick” images worth revisiting. And only after that do I start developing shots. Oof. I think he meant got any pictures of what you had in the shopping centre food court? Awkward. |

I went to a LotR convention once, but sadly - apart from an excellent lecture from Richard Taylor (apart from his boring voice and having a beer with Jed Brophy) the LARPing and cosplay was pitiful, with deluded obese elven princesses. I did get my signed portrait of Miranda Otto though. Everything has improved enormously since then. |
