Morning all.
Watched a few more BSG episodes last night, and also two-thirds of Zoolander 2.
I've been to the Coop this morning, and it felt like i was trudging across the Siberian steppe to get there.

I'm slightly hungover and have just watched The Signal Hill Speed Run documentary, which is up there with Dogtown and Z Boys for me. Man, my wheels are itchy. This damp, shitty Spring is killing 2018's skateboarding.

Hello.
In Tesco buying stuff for the child's birthday party in a few weeks. Thirty 5 to 6 yr olds. Shudder.
Last night we watched half of Mollys Game and we'll finish it tonight. Mrs Crank tells me player X was Toby Maguire? Mrs Crank went to bed and I shoved on the division for an hour. Levelled up and did a couple of missions to get the wings upgraded.
Phoned my pal who got burgled. Reading between the lines the fuckwit didn't have the big lock on despite knowing the tenement door entry doesn't always lock...

Got a 2nd place on Fortnite. Killed a couple of guys in the top 10 and felt good with loads of loot, then completely fell to pieces and did everything wrong when I realized I one guy left. Horrific choke.

Afternoon. I've been to the Coop this morning, and it felt like i was trudging across the Siberian steppe to get there. We just heard the tune of the indefatigable ice cream van. (If I'm honest it needs to be sub-zero before I say no to a 99 Flake.) End of Mad Men season 5 last night (the one where one constantly shouts 'go to the dentist, Don, for Pete's (Campbell's?) sake!' at the screen.) Skyrim: mooching around Movarth's lair. I'm able to dispatch his followers, but it's taken only one look at his regenerating health bar to come to the conclusion that I'm woefully unprepared. I'll be back later. Morthal has had this little problem for so long, they can wait a bit longer. Also listened to various renditions of 'The Dark Island' whilst sipping whisky, trying to decide which one is the darkest. I've also been thinking about running the Home Office. It sounds like a good job, no pressure reading emails and memos and stuff and generally having a clue what's going on, plenty of time for online shopping. I'm good at that sort of thing. |

Life of Brian on Netflix kept me entertained last night, I would advise avoiding Batman The Killing Joke - worst of the WB animation studio has ever produced.

I learned that over the past week an episode of Black Mirror was filmed in Croydon. A grim, dystopian wasteland but that still didn't stop them filming there.
They took over "St George's Walk" a seen better days shopping centre which they kitted out in fake 80's shopfronts including a Wimpy, a brown WH Smith, a Chelsea Girl clothes store, a retro-looking Pizza Hut, a Soleil travel agent, Redfields supermarket and a FADS DIY store, among other ’80s relics.
