Morning all!
I'm not dead! I haven't yet had time to replug the plugs on the hifi system so I'm not yet wired for electricity.
Train to get the train was late so I barely made the train this morning, no time for coffee or second breakfast. Luckily I've got a big can of hull adjacent adjacent and quaffing away.
Games - more of Codblops modern wharfare 2. A brief shooting people in the face session. TB
OTTM - tired. so tired.
On the flip side, its WW, so looking forward to the fireworks tonight.

I can’t believe it. After leaving for work a little bit late I’ve had to take a circuitous route to the station to avoid my next-door neighbour who works at the same place as me.
Ah man. She even took my place on the station platform.
Tuesday
Was ok. I met two old school friends after work - one of whom I have been in consistent contact with since leaving school, the other not so much.
My one friend, who I have not seen so much, is a doctor. A part of me feels he may as well live in a different universe. I’m convinced I didn’t give a good impression of myself. I tore into the drinks and rasped and squinted, trying to ignore the rictus of concern upon my friend’s face. This is life. I feel soaked with ennui this morning. But maybe it’s just a hangover.

Good News. The car battery's charged up after only nine (9) hours of the old electricals. I really thought it was a goner.
Bad News. I'll now have to drive across the County line on Friday.

What I mean is no doubt it will be another 30 years before your friend is ready to meet you again.

Morning
Gamez. More Odyssey. Made a short trip to another island to Odysseus's Palace. Smashed the place up, killed loads of soldiers, nicked loads of loot, retrieved a shroud and freed a prisoner. On the next mission I've been charged with getting a boat by the same mysterious untrustworthy looking chap who's got me to steal the shroud. Although he did let me keep it.
OTTM, I think I might be addicted to wensleydale cheese. Hopefully there aren't any side effects.
