All you need is a name and address, and a plausible phone manner and you can find out pretty much anything about anyone.
With a date of birth and an NI number I could find out the rest.

Despite the name I don't think the Acute Medical Unit is a high dependency unit. Normally it is a spot they take someone after A&E to decide whether to admit or release them. It doesn't mean Chumbles will be free necessarily or is feeling great, but it does mean it is less likely he is on a load of machines.

I did find this on my travels diplomacyzines.co.uk/If anyone wants to know how to play Diplomacy. There are some articles and fanzines by Chumbles on there. I will not identify him.

You don't play Diplomacy, Diplomacy plays you. (More often than not while Chumbles shouts at you in the chat.)

Sheeps there, ruining everyone's carefully written elegies, the bastard.
And with an accurate description of an AMU. It's basically an overflow to help hospitals fail less badly against A&E targets in a relatively cheap manner without killing too many people. I know of at least one AMU that was entirely within a "converted" corridor.

I know of at least one AMU that was entirely within a "converted" corridor. That doesn't make the medical unit sound that cute. I have been to visit your mother in one(not recently), so I know what they are like. It wasn't actually a corridor, but wasn't a proper ward. It looked like it had been converted as a temporary ward. She was noticeably high on opiates. That is not why she was in hospital. They gave her the drugs there. A high parent is even more amusing than a pissed parent.

Damn, my tribute was looking good. Good job Sheep2 * *Who'd have thought I'd say that. If you met me you'd realise, I think, that, while my online presence is an accurate part of me it is by no means everything. I don't think you can really hide your personality online, though bits get more or less emphasis. I am here for fun and snark, but I am not actually a monster.

Sheeps there, ruining everyone's carefully written elegies, the bastard. I have been thinking about this and I think you meant eulogies, not elegies Certainly you shouldn't be encouraging anyone here to write terrible poetry. Probably not daft eulogies either, but definitely nothing that rhymes. The Chatterbox poetry competition is going to start and finish with me burning every entry unread.

This is for Chumbles when he's back. A band he loves, a song that has the line "That you don't know what you got 'til it's gone" and the fact that he doesn't like music videos in general chat.

So we have a sheep and seal who are connected in a rather labyrinthian and possibly distasteful way.
The question is, who is the Alpha Mammal?

Probably not daft eulogies either, but definitely nothing that rhymes. The Chatterbox poetry competition is going to start and finish with me burning every entry unread. When referring to English poetry of the last couple of centuries, an elegy is usually a poem written for the dead. I could have said eulogies, but I chose not to. I wasn't proposing we write in the manner of Catullus, though if you want to read my couplets about Lesbia then all you have to do is pm me. The player in the West knew best And told me I must go to Trieste: "Don't do a Lepanto You're not enough man to, And please keep away from my Brest."

You've seen the prose these people write. Why would you encourage them to attempt poetry?
Maybe because it means they won't be writing prose, but it's like encouraging a Tory to play with the NHS to avoid them writing a budget.
