One of the rules is that 90% of the judges need to be male octogenarians with bad eyesite. Eyesight. There's an edit function for a reason. Amipal has pretty good eyesite for an 80 year old.

I loved the photography in Breath of the Wild and The Windwaker. Every time I come across something new in Skyrim I still think "gotta get a picture". Although the fact that Link would creep up to animals successfully and then scare them off by standing up to take the picture was driving me spare.

Bad eyesite means one's eyes are situated in an inconvenient location. I'm pretty sure that this is what amipal meant to say about these octogenarians. Maybe they are feeling the photos with their fingers. Or toes.
Your welcome.

Ten - are you carrying everything or are you stashing anything at all? Luckily no-one else pilfers dragon bones so you can make a note of where the skeleton is and just come back later.
The odd thing is that dragon armour isn't even that great. Daedric looks far cooler if you are running for heavy and either dragon scale or stahlrim if you are going light. That said if you are running a light armour build there are quite a few decent ones with perks (Saviours Hide). As you aren't looking to get hit much the trade off is better applied to ranged resistance (e.g. magic).

Killed it.
More Resi revelations 2. It's fun, in a way. Nostalgia? Might buy the full game. Be better in local coop with a friend i reckon. Sigh.

Anyone else's day going slower than ever? I'm in desperate need of a positive.

Afternoon fools,
Work is flogging me silly at the moment. It's not on.
WFH tomorrow to make up for it.
Fun with crank on the division last night, our level gap is slightly too high I think. The game valiantly tried to find a happy medium but it resulted in him getting 1 shot killed by enemies whilst I resembled the terminator. Should be fun when we're both in the end game for trips to the DZ/underground/WSP

The odd thing is that dragon armour isn't even that great. Daedric looks far cooler if you are running for heavy and either dragon scale or stahlrim if you are going light. That said if you are running a light armour build there are quite a few decent ones with perks (Saviours Hide). As you aren't looking to get hit much the trade off is better applied to ranged resistance (e.g. magic). Good to know that no-one would take dragon bones, but I would almost certainly forget where I've parked my last dragon. I mean, I've given up on my horse because I could never find it. My problem is that facilities are really badly distributed throughout Skyrim if one's avoiding fast travel. I was getting a bit sick of always having to return to Whiterun (still the only place where I own a home, I'm working on other places) to stash my loot, have a choice of traders and all smithing facilities. I wanted to do more exploration, but the game makes it very difficult because it's hard to find a trader you can sell your loot to - I don't understand why the world is awash with innkeepers who will only trade in food and ingredients, i.e. the stuff that doesn't leave you particularly encumbered, but has so few vendors (like the Stormcloak quartermasters) who will take the really heavy stuff off you. I know that better trading conditions are part of the speech skill tree, but I can't say I'm inclined to invest perks into it just to alleviate the problem. The same goes for smithing facilities. I've - naturally - picked up a lot of ore, and there are plenty of places that have a grindstone, or a workbench. But not a smelter, and so I can't actually use the grindstone or workbench to achieve a better price for weapons and armour that are already weighing me down because there's nowhere to sell them, and at the same time the ore is sitting uselessly in my inventory and adding to the weight. When clearing a location the weight limit means that one's leaving a lot of stuff behind, and there's not much time before everything despawns. (I'm not complaining about not having enough money, but it seems a pity that one can't make full use of the loot and always has to pick the low weight, high value items.) I guess I just have to go back to fast travel and returning to camp regularly, but I'm finding the game quite unbalanced in that respect. I'm walking past plenty of places of interest because I know that the weight limit will not allow me to fully investigate.

wow - not fast travel? that's dedication, hat doffed!
There is one smelter in Whiterun behind the blacksmiths, and one in Winterhold (I think). Really the one in Whiterun is best as you have numerous places to trade and buy more stuff. Skyforge (just up from the companion hall) has a chap who'll sell/buy and say "Gods be praised" a lot. Nice chap.
If you build your own house* (there are three locations) you can have your own forge with all the trappings in the basement and Lakeview manor allows you to build it outside (actually I think the other three locations allow that as well). You will also find them near mines on occasion.
I agree about lack of places to sell stuff, most traders have 750/1000 limit. I'm drowning in rubies but if I make a diamond ring and enchat it few can afford it (and then there's the conflict over selling the cheaper and heavier items to mages such as staffs or spellbooks).
*not to be confused with being given an existing property. These don't have forges from what I can remember.
One of the easiest ways to declutter is take away all your armour/weapons and re-equip being realistic. If you aren't planning on hitting up any draugr you can leave Dawnbreaker at home, likewise equip specifically for missions. That said I realise you don't fast travel so you don't necessarily have the option top pop back and out all the time.

Tent are you travelling with a companion? You can stick a whole load of loot on them.
