Today I have spent many hours on the phone to my bank, trying to find out why they have taken some money. They don't know. They acknowledge they have taken it, but they are unable to work out why

Google have just refunded me £115 in respect of games bought for Stadia - they've even refunded me in full for games that were bought in part with offer vouchers sent by them, as well as for 2 months of Stadia Pro. This has happened to other people too and they've been allowed to keep the dosh, so it's a bit of a win. Shame to see it go, stadia was good to take away on holiday, but I've still got a great controller and a Chromecast Pro for free out of them and the whole experiment has cost me about minus twenty quid

What? What has happened to Stadia? Is it no more? They announced about three months ago that stadia was fine and had the full backing of corporate Google. So no one was surprised when two weeks later they announced it was shutting down. They've been refunding everyone who bought games and hardware in full, but quite a lot of people are being refunded for stadia Pro subscriptions as well. The servers are open til February |

Afternoon all! Amigablog: at lunch, I grabbed some time on the A1200 and played some of the entries for this years Amiga Blitz Basic Game Jame. One that stood out was by the Scottish Amiga Group*, called "Weegie Nights". I thought I was doing okay getting “in the zone” when I was mugged by a pedestrian, beaten up, and taken to hospital.
