Chumbles..... reading your posts I get the impression your legs are much better after your hospital stay. Dropping from heavy duty painkillers to paracetamol as you've mentioned is a big change. Are you expected to be back on your feet again some time soon so you can get about the house. Tell me to fuck off if I'm being intrusive.

Chinese takeaway update:
Ordered:
Singapore Fried Rice
King Prawn Chow Mein
Special Fried Rice
2 x large spring rolls (filling: beansprouts, shrimp, pork, chicken)
Salt n pepper chips
(plus whatever freebie they chuck in, usually prawn crackers, sometimes mini veg spring rolls)
(between four)
(looks like chinese for brekkers/lunch)
(I won't ask Babyfark to reheat it for us).

They are, but that is because I have been stuck in bed for 12 weeks. Which means that I have to exercise my legs and the left foot has a lot more healing to do. Frankly, the morphine didn't do that much for me, but take the edge of the pain off. And the 60ml per day up to when I collapsed with septic shock and kidney + UTI was because I was having to walk on bleeding feet. The first foot to the floor was sheer agony. I have been trying to reduce the amount of tablets that I take for some time. |

I spent 2-3h setting up a payment for the boiler work - really annoying as I couldn't get the code pad to work and the security checks took ages as the Account name was incomplete... So my back is aching like crazy.

What is the etiquette for tipping a takeaway delivery driver in the modern world? Easy enough when it's cash on the doorstep, enabling a rounding up in the traditional manner. But more often it's paid on an app in advance and it doesn't feel right to press a couple of quid into the guy's hand like I'm J.R. Ewing or something. Where are the rules for these transactions?

The PM went for a swim so I managed to get a decent run at TLOU. Got through the Hydro dam section and now at the Uni.
The new pistol with the sight is great.
In all the excitement I've just bought TLOU2 as it's £8 odd until midnight.
Backlog tastic.
Watched a boiler-room thing earlier with Kerri Chandler doing a set on two reel-to-reel recorders. Was cracking.

If it's the local takeaway direct (ie. they deliver it) that's cash on delivery (like tonights chinese) then I round up and add a squid. So £28.90 gets £30. But so does £28.20.
If it's local takeaway direct and already paid by card, same principle but hand over a squid and maybe some silver (if I have it).
If it's a deliveroo, just eat etc delivery then they've already added on a massive delivery fee (not just a nominal £1.50 say) so I give fuck all. Eg. I'm sure a Macdonalds delivery added over £4 last time.
Simples.

We had an Indian takeaway. Delicious. The pm ordered it on Deliveroo. I think she put a tip on there. I don’t know … I did a reimburse using the banking app on my telephone.
I used to like pressing a tuppence into the palm of the delivery driver. Now I just grab the bag and dart back through the door.
