Yeah I mean NATO. I just feel we’re getting closer and closer. Supplying weapons, now tanks. Giving support. Things that seemed pretty risky a while ago are now met with a vague acceptance. I’m not really sure there’s any practical way of either side pulling out. The logic seems to be to get more involved - to get further in. I read a rather interesting tweet a couple of weeks back which suggested that the UK should send all of it’s armour to Ukraine - tanks, IFVs, APCs, MRAPs, SPGs, ARVs. Just dump the lot, then start afresh. The French would love that. Macron would have his tanks in Hastings by the end of the day. |

There was an article by Timothy Garton Ash last week explaining that because Germany had carried out a genocidal anti-Russian war in Ukraine in the 1940sthey now had a special responsibility to supply weapons to Ukraine to fight the Russians.
It was well written, cleverly argued and just slightly creepy.
But I find his carefully tended beard a bit creepy..

Terry's in a bit of a rut today, nuclear oblivion doesn't sound so bad. Could a war with Russia ever really be a war, with troops and guns? Or would it just be the end?
Where's the most likely attack coordinates Vlad would 'go nuclear' in London? Bang on No. 10? Just curious how long I might survive based on the distance of ground zero from Terry's lodgings.

I think ideally I'd prefer a nuclear weapon to be delivered directly through the velux windows in the loft conversion. No question of a lingering radiation death that way.
