Not quite so. Denies being one of 8 living Samurai outside of Japan (despite the class not existing since 1868), but claims that the Samurai class lives on through him via his mentor Ken Japanesy. I think that's right.* *probably not.

To settle this, we need to see Karl balance on one leg on a pole on a beach, wash a car with two sponges at the same time, and go mano a mano with Kane in a service station carpark.

With regards to the samurai thing: Days gone by 1970's+ it used to be the case that you could only be graded up to 7th dan (Black belt) outside of Japan and that you would have to go to Japan to get your 8th Dan grade (Black belt). In Judo mainly (Kodokan) 9th Dan (Red belt) would be held by Japanese Masters, 10th Dan (red belt) would be Senior masters, 11th Dan (Red belt) would only be held by the son of Grand Master/Founder Jigoro Kano Kancho and 12th Dan (red belt) was only for the Kano Kancho. You started with a Red belt and ended with a Red belt, creating a circle of knowledge and wisdom. Samurai ratings are flim flam and should be taken with a pinch of salt outside of Japan, regardless of the Art you study only after 9th or 10th Dan and MANY years with heart and soul (30+) would Japanese Martial Art society even consider you to be a Samurai class, the Japanese Government would also have to approve you for that grade. Budo Masters (Dan + Instructors of three arts or more) were only considered Samurai class at 8th Dan Budo grade level, I only met and was trained by 2 or 3 at that grade in my lifetime. I hope this helps, I close at 4pm

Morning Tuffers fans!
It's my birthday and I'll cry if I want to.
As previously mentioned, both the PM and I booked the day off work and the kind chaps at the NUT allowed the kids off school. We've all just got back from a slap up family lunch. As it was highly recommended by my brother, I went for the full English breakfast. Oh my. It might be the best one I've ever eaten. Each individual item was top quality produce and cooked to perfection:
Bacon x 2, sausage x 2, fried egg, grilled tomato, black pudding, beans (in its own separate pot giving me the choice of what to do with them), fried mushrooms, a hash brown and a slice of toast and butter.
I also got a Colin the Caterpillar birthday cake, with a '4' and an '8' candle in top. 💪🍰 Happy 84th, Tuffers!
OTTM, going to start Dead Space chapter 3. Did anyone else get lost and disorientated at the end of chapter 2/start of chapter 3? Where you do the zero gravity thing and 'fly' down a SHAFT to find a door. Took me about 6 or 7 attempts. The sound the guy makes as he's suffocating to death is a bit grim. I heard it alot. Sorry Isaac.

Seriously though, there's a real nasty bit of zeroG on Level 6. Better get used to it.

who the fucks haudin' Sensi? Oh, sorry. I see what you mean. My pal did TEFL and taught in Tokyo for 5 yrs. He did a lot of pre-school and had little toddlers learning English tugging at his trouser legs shouting "Sensei, Sensei" I just read that over. It was meant in an entirely wholesome way. So no Tuffers, no! Even if it is your birthday.

"This overhaul, from EA studio Motive, is a surprisingly restrained affair, resisting the temptation to supplement the game with modern adornments. Instead it streamlines the experience, altering the layout of doomed spaceship the USG Ishimura so that players may pass through it and its many horrors more smoothly.".
U WOT M8?

Happy birthday Tuffers. Glad your meal out was good.
Just finished ep3 of TLOU. Oof. A tug at the heartstrings and no mistake. Really good TV.

So is The Last of Us really good?
I just imagine it would be like the game. I never played the game of course.
Apocalyptic zombies? Cannibals? Holing up in the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum?

Lazybones - it is the best. But I'm a big fan of the game so might be biased.
Tiddles - I just met Mr Snakey in chapter 3. Oof.
