Morning.
In the early hours, last night, the cat decided to play 'footsie' with one of Mrs T's ornaments. Result? One hand-blown glass cat smashed. She's had it for 20 years, bought it from the glass blowing place on the Isle of WIght and is pissed off.
She's gone out now to do some murders.

Chaos with Ed Miliband on the trains yesterday, all the fast trains home cancelled and so I was stuck on the slow train.

All the deliveries today. All of them.
My partner is attempting to hang wallpaper tomorrow, on a wall which we had painted with a satin paint. We’ve done our best removing as much of said paint as possible, but still large chunks visible.
It’s all going to end up on the floor, isn’t it?
TVblog: Lockwood & Co. Very compelling! Binged three episodes last night. Feels properly British, probably thanks to British actors, setting, production, and Joe Cornish.

Quiet in here. First day of the school holidays and the PM is WFH. My Fri routine of two breakfasts and a shop bought coffee kicked to the curb. Games. More BF4. Hi,
Have just made cheese on toast with the microwave grill for the first time, its been a big success. Its a small grilling area, but its on 110% heat and comes on straight away, no heating up period. Its supposed to rotate past the grilling area on its usual round and round vibe, but if you take the dish off and just use the little metal platform you can get some intense localised grilling.
Accompanied by potato and leek cup o soup.

I had makeshift pasta for lunch. Spiral pasta tubes, with capers, sun-dried (blushed?) tomatoes, garlic, oil, balsamic vinegar and a hearty portion of cheese.
I think I cooked too much to fit on the plate. And the shapes were hard to ‘catch.’ With a shovel of the fork they slid off. You could prang them but only get one or two at a time.
I’m not complaining. Well maybe I am a bit.
