Eurovision: just avoid the drinking games. I "remember" the year when the rules asked for a drink every time people were wearing white or a wind machine was being used. People had drunk themselves under the table full of European party snacks by the third entry already, as the Greeks had turned up with a whole group clad in white gyrating in front of a wind machine. After that every other performer wore white. It was unsustainable. No idea who won. Was the when Conchita won? Each year they turn the Duke of York's cinema into a front lounge of sorts with Boogaloo Stu hosting and a bar down the front. It's carnage. I have no idea how I'll be functioning Sunday morning. |

I had a dreadful run on Fortnite, but finally managed to kill someone, with a sniper rifle no less from a full hundred metres or so. After this feat I was immediately killed.

I had a dreadful run on Fortnite, but finally managed to kill someone, with a sniper rifle no less from a full hundred metres or so. After this feat I was immediately killed. Last night I found myself with a sniper rifle in a prime spot. Hid out for ages while the storm closed around me. Finally spotted someone, pulled off a decent shot, and was then immediately killed by the rest of their squad. I then had to spectate the guy who killed me while he revived the one I'd shot. Didn't even get the kill. I had to stop playing after that |

He's laid on his back consuming copious amounts of alcohol in warm weather. I fail to see how that could be a bad situation. I think it's far more likely that he's taking a perverse pleasure in making us feel even more miserable about being sat at work, sober*. *For me, at least. Wouldn't put it past some of you to be hammered at work. |
