I have a question.
Does anyone know what a ‘Usage Message Event’ is on a phone?
I’m getting charged about £20 a month for Usage Message Events on my phone. About 65p each. I’ve got unlimited data and free texts, and use iMessage for most messages. I do send some picture messages as text, but not that many and they should only be 40p each.
What the Hell?!

Hmm. Maybe not at 65p a go. Tweet your network and ask. It’s hard to say. The bill just says ‘Usage Message Event’. I got in touch with Three and they said they were international messages, but I’ve been in the UK since the start of January. Then they said they identified the sender and I should just text ‘STOP’ to them. The sender was the number of a premium text I’d once sent to find out the remaining balance on a gift card. I’m not really convinced. |

I think I’ve found out what it was.
I was sending messages to my friend in New Zealand, when he was in the UK. He’d turned his mobile data off so, instead of going in iMessage, they were going as texts.

Games = Wild Hearts. It's top banana, like a poorly made Monster Hunter but you can build stuff. Smashed various members of wildlife.
Energy drinks = Not had a chance to partake over the weekend, but got a big tin of hull adjacent at the ready.
