"The Met Office confirmed late on Sunday: "A coronal hole high speed stream" had combined with "a rather fast coronal mass ejection" leading to Aurora sightings across the UK." Hot. An acquaintance of mine saw it from his back garden in Uckfield, Sussex. Now that’s southern. Whereabouts is gong based? Don't have the spreadsheet to hand

I've never tried it, but I've seen it. Looks like Dave Lee Travis spilt a load of Humbrol paint on his beard, trimmed and bagged it, then sold it to some wannabe hipster wankers.
Probably.

Hi
Beans (Branston) on toast for lunch.
Got the heating on. Global warming my arse.
OTTM, kids off school again tomorrow so the hippy teachers can go shopping for berets and Che Guevara t-shirts, erm, I mean go on strike to try and improve their ghastly awful pension scheme or something.

School strike here tomorrow/Wed. The child is going to her Grannys both days.
I'm off to Dundee tomorrow for work. Which means an early start.
This would be fine - but my boss is now coming as well. I like her and get on with her, but my plan to watch TLOU on the train is off the cards now. Balls.

Taking the written word to Dundee is the Lords work.
I am not convinced about going to Dundee by train. That line does not have a perfect safety record.

Went to Aldi today to do a big shop, filled a trolley with discounted groceries. Got home to find PM waving away a Tesco delivery van, we had not communicated re: shopping requirements and we now have all the groceries. Between us I think we're at least partially responsible for the national tomato shortage. Don't know what's for dinner, but it's going to have to involve substantial quantities of chicken tits and tomatoes.

It's a software usergroup so lots of chat about "Roadmaps" and the audience (mainly Scottish Library staff) complaining about being charged for things we'd say is core functionality.

I got Chat-GPT3 to write me a recipe involving gin, tomatoes and chicken tits:
"recipe:
Tomato Gin Chicken
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breast, cut into small strips
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 onion, diced
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup gin
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil.
2. Add chicken strips and onion, cooking until chicken is cooked through and onion is translucent.
3. Add garlic, chicken broth, gin, tomatoes, honey, oregano, salt, and black pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.
4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5-10 minutes, or until sauce has thickened.
5. Serve over cooked pasta, rice, or vegetables."
Sounds OK, for a recipe developed by a word-aggregating hive mind. I'd imagine it would be nicer without the Gin, but that's more my fault than his
