I’ve got a feeling we’ve upset our neighbours with the building work, and they’re plotting to oust us in the same way they plotted against the neighbour with the meth lab.
My conscience is clear. But my dream of a quiet, easy life is not. I might be imagining it.
Today the builders / flat renovators were there for the last time. They did some good stuff.
Ah man …
On my way to a Polish bar for a friend’s birthday. I hope I’ve got the date right.

That Isabel Oakeshott has got a hell of an accent. Wikipedia indicates that she is scottish, but she sounds uncannily like Liz Truss, who as everyone knows was brought up in a rough part of Leeds.

I don’t know. A part of me feels like I’ve arrived at a psychological place, from which I can see how moribund my conversation always was. But maybe … I mean maybe, my conversation has become more moribund while my psyche has remained the same.

I'm watchinng a programme where Legolas meets up with Jamie Oliver and Jamie's identikit "mate" on a pier in Cockneyland. Jamie makes 'sam pwoppa gwab' for Legolas, then it's Legolas turn to cook for Jamie, his "mate" and a 'caff' (Cafe on a pier) full of locals.
There is lots of competition, but I think I might have hit rock bottom.
