So I am led to believe. But, if Mr 1st & 2nd place weren't so cocky as to have a personal 'door banging' match at the second to last corner, they would have seen a hapless Tids scooting down the inside to take both of the shits for the win.
Also, I would like to point out that I was on offroad tyres for a street race championship. Otherwise, I would clearly have 'kicked their asses'.

I assume Rockstar games keeps a close eye on this forum, and so I hereby demand they begin work on a full remake of the first Red Dead Redemption with immediate effect
