Afternoon. Based on some recent fieldwork, I have calculated that 6 pints of Landlord results in a worse hangover than 8 pints of Guinness. All fully peer reviewed.

My nurse forgot to tell me he was coming at 1.15pm. So he turned up then and my treatment was without anaesthesia. The carers turned up during this and 1 of them immediately bailed out of the room because the legs aren't pretty - a tough Indian guy from near Simla. The other is a Romanian guy from Constanta (I managed not to scream.) After a late lunch an upchuck followed. Since then I've slept. I was awoken by the carers, who unwittingly caused further removal of stomach contents. I'm hors de combat pro tem. |

If you substitute Abbot Ale for Landlord you'll find 6 pints is a generous serving. |

Glasgow central was busy due to the Footy so went for a kebab. Arseholes are taking forever. Would have gone to Shwarma King if I'd wanted a 30 min wait. Too busy serving deliveroo etc. Wankers.

When I saw my brother last week, he told me that they were getting their roof done. New tiles, structure etc.
When the builder asked him if he wanted normal tiles or the bigger, twice-the-size tiles, my brother asked the simple question: “So if they’re bigger, you only need half the tiles, which means it’ll be quicker and cheaper, right?” To which the builder replied “yes”.
Cue my brother having a conversation with his wife, her stating “I’m a bit worried that you’ve told them to use the bigger tiles: they’ll weigh more, and damage the house….”
He couldn’t quite convince her that the double-sized tile that is twice the weight of normal tiles, and requires half as many, weighs roughly the same overall…

There is a very large moth having a kip outside my front door. It appears to be sporting Desert Camo and has a weird black marking between it's 'shoulder blades'.
