Ok....so who was taken in by my witty April Fool of ProBoards starting to charge. I mean get real ...who would pay to read this garbage. Well yes, ok you probably would but no one else. I was taken in - Hook, line and sinker. Now they know your gullible the begging letters are going to be flooding in. Did I mention that my gerbil needs an operation. It was my orphaned mum's for thirty years. The only thing I have left to remind me of her. I'm happy to accept monthly payments of £300 to save it's life. |

Packing for our holiday: speedos, hanky, bucket and spade, £1k in two pence pieces. Got my eye on ALL the haddock and chips, yummers! Setting off in the morning and the forecast looks decent. Praise be to Jebus for giving us Easter.

Not far from Scarbados. Probably nearer Filey. We have Scarbados, Filey, Bridlington (1983), Flamboro (a great alternative to Beachy Head) etc all within 20 mins. Then Whitby (Shitby hahaha) a bit further away. ALL the sea air.
I'm afraid Skegvegas is a no go as it is in deepest darkest Yellow Belly Coward County so we would need passports and inoculations.

Today, we’ve been to Leonardslee Gardens and attended a Shawn the Sheep workshop, actually led be someone from Aardman. All three of us produced convincing-looking plasticine Shawns.
TVblog: the latest Picard. It was alright. It may be losing its lustre now…
Also watched a DS9, which featured lots of Klingons.
Phoneblog: my iPhone 7 has finally been put out to pasture*, and I’ve replaced it was a shiny new iPhone 14. The next-next-next-next-next-next-next generation.
It’s well good.

Paid for the bloody carnival thing tomorrow. Nearly £60 for the three of us. I'll be definitely barfing up over a ride for that price.
On the plus side, it looks like I'll be here myself the second week of the school holidays as the pm / child will be at the in-laws.

I wasted a big part of this afternoon on Mount and Blade 2 - Bannerlord.
Hmmm.
I did the tutorial and took a small group to ransack a bandits’ lair. After this my in-game brother said he was going somewhere and the tutorial ended. I galloped off and thought I’d have a pop at some more bandits. When I got to the battlefield, though, I was on my own … My in-game brother had taken the rest of our group with him and I got taken hostage …

Had a run around in the Division 2 the other night with a group of randoms. Dark Zone stuff, good fun. Gets a friend request from one of them. Accepts it.
Last night, gets a game invite from him. North of England accent - Burnley or nearby. His pal is American. We're running around in the DZ. Group of four absolutely slaughter us. Kick our arses and another group in the room. So of course the English guy starts going on about how they're "probably Muslim, or foreigners - French probably" the Yank agrees.
FFS. This is why we can't have nice things. Made my excuses and left.
