I have been to Fradley Junction.
I went to the Swan, not to any caff though.
It used to be a decent pub, but I have not been there for a long time.

I once went on a weeklong canalling jaunt with a group of massive stoners from the 'Head of the River' pub, up the Cherwell, and along to the Fairport Reunion Fayre at Cropredy, and back. Along the way we managed to lose just about every item of crockery over the side. One of the group had a hobby of using the long boathook to hoick out every discarded chip carton he could snag from the reeds, festoon them with incense sticks, and release them to drift downstream spreading hippy vibes. This really seemed to piss off the fishing types on the banks.

The Swan at Fradley was disappointing the last time I was there. I think it had stopped selling Pedigree. Oh God. I remember it as an Ansells pub. Sold a nice pint of Ind Coope Burton Ale back in the days when it was actually brewed in Burton. This was a while ago though. You were probably still drinking pepsi in pubs at the time. |

I'm a GiffGaff man. Tenner a month, no contract. I never get close to using up the data allowance, whatever it is.

I think people use Giffgaff or similar.
My mum uses Tesco mobile and says it is good. But she is rubbish at phones.

Smarty or voxi give more data for your money. They're on 3 & Vodafone respectively. You get "free" social media/streaming etc depending on the tariff.
