Evening all, dry day today nothing too frantic, gorgeous countryside alongside/through hellish HS2 works. What were they thinking.
Even some of the canalside homes are going into the abyss. That aside we pootled along at a heady 4 mph then parked up at Alrewas village for a fish and chip supper at the Crown Inn, nice meal all in all although to have a moan I'm not used to deep fried brown chips. 4* would recommend. Soon to bed then driving in shifts tomorrow with an early start to cover the remaining distance, then thorough clean down inside and outside for Mondays handover. Peace, K.

Additional: they had a live band but we were tired to stay, the Landlord/Lady said they had only open a few weeks ago.

stxdpr, I think the Scottish Parliament building is worth a visit. I believe they do tours etc, but only on certain days. It was pretty closed when I went, but I enjoyed being eyeballed by gun-toting bastards as I leisurely explored and photographed its external architecture. Evening all.
Yesterday, I played some Necromunda over a friend’s house. My Orlock gang defended their settlement against another friend’s Scavvies - Hive-bottom-dwellers, mutated by industrial effluent and toxins.
His side brought with them thirty plague zombies, which was a bit much considering Necro gangs tend to only be a max of fourteen gangers…
Suffice it to say that my gang voluntarily bottled it after suffering more than 25% casualties.
Great game, even if I did lose two gangers properly-dead…
