Wish me luck - it's pretty certain I have the flu AND I haven't had a covid 19 jab; so I have to cancel my operation - hopefully this will trigger life-saving treatment. Failure: 1. I can't cancel until NEXT week ("You might get better" ffs )
2. The nursing staff in the X-Ray department trigger postponement / cancellation only,
3. To get treatment requires clinical intervention - in this case the consultant... and
I am pretty sure that I have no chance of getting this set up today... I'm pretty much knocked out with medication. |

it was lovely weather here til about 30 mins ago and it's now absolutely honking it down...... shame it wasn't yesterday as i'd have happily detained any tory canvassers for as long as possible.
As it is i took a sneaky day off and cooked a slo-cooker of beef and bean dopiaza for laters. Hopefully i'll be able to add my own trumpets to the fanfares at Charlie-jubs bash tomorrow.

Yes it's a specially designed lump made of coffee grains and nacho's, I had to use nacho's as I ran out of chips. I'm off out shortly to the barber for a birthday haircut and then Ikea, I may be gone some time. #prayforkane K  |

I'm sitting here with four cunting IKEA chairs to build. You're supposed to know by osmosis which way up a bit of wood goes. It could be one of two ways and doesn't show you in their pish diagram. Really hope someone visits their HQ with an AR15

Always go with the hole alignment (you heard) and if it looks good then it's probably right. Well that journey was epic, (damn I left my AR behind again). Swedish meatballs and gravy, mash and peas, cheesecake and a muffin and filtered (through a sweaty sock) coffee and no brown sugar, I mean what's the world coming to when you have to use white sugar in coffee. White for Tea, Brown for coffee - and it rhymes to make it easier to remember. No hair/beard cut either as I decided I'm going to go full 'Grisly Adams in the wilds of Croydon' and perfect a glaring glance that mad eye Moody would be proud of. Kane. edit: I am remiss, I should said what the great journey returned with - a plant spray bottle, yes folks after all that epic travelling and navigation of the Ikea maze, nothing to see here, I decided to go over the road ish and pop in B&Q which was surprisingly empty, picked up a spray bottle wandered for 5 mins (as you do) then one bag purchase later and I'm done off home I toddled. I did force them into a corner a bit by asking them about metal shelf frames which was fun to see them squirm, the 'manager' soon stopped that by stating that they no longer consider them to be a sales worthy item even though they were a sales worthy item! |
