Someone at my work was off sick with stress for 2 years, then put in a claim for about £300k. She basically wanted full pay including on-costs for the time she'd been off (even though she had already been paid) so effectively wanted to be paid twice for a job she hadn't been doing. She also said that the stress had made her go on multiple holidays which she wanted reimbursing for, and also argued that had she been in work she would have been promoted, so wanted more money to reflect that. I never met her, but by God I respect her

I hated today. It was like a grim endurance marathon, in which there was a risk / likelihood of passing through a wooded copse and being fired at from hidden faeces launchers (like grenade launchers but with faeces). Then occasionally the faeces would hit - a horrible wet solid mass on the jawbone
I didn’t like it at all.

He sent me a very brief DM this morning (full of typos) stating that he was rather ill and was having two treatments today. i replied but have heard nothing since.
