hi I hope Chumbles is ok. Perhaps in a morphine swoon he will enjoy hearing about a toilet flush mechanism. A bad business. I’m starting to wonder if the tile-board concealing the cistern is too thick for the mechanism to go fully through. Can the people who fitted the toilet find a longer mechanism? I don’t know. But surely they must have known the the mechanism wasn’t attached when they put it in? FortniteA team win. I died before the end. Bronze III ranking? Fair. |

MalwareBytes - I pay for this and have for decades, but still pish around (as overnight, tonight - light relief = Hairy Bikers) every year or so (but beware the source ) - I recommend Mbytes! I MUST sleep - only time that I can safely do so. |

Office day [multiple tears]. At least the weather’s nice. And I got a charging point.
TVblog: DS9 and Mulligan.
The latter is very 30-Rock-esque due to Robert Carlock and Tina Fey. Dana Carvey “knocks it out of the park” though.
Amigablog: tries to play Genesia, but the machine was having none of it. So a quick go on Parasol Stars followed by Paramax.
Miniblog: having finished my latest quartet of Slayers (and thus completing the regiment - photo later), I’ve moved onto painting the next four Dwarf Thunderers.
I’ve also been attempting to magnetise a Space Marine dreadnought’s weapons, which is easier said than done with metal components.

Thank you lazybonesI am fine. I've been busy with work and I had to go see my my mum's partner after work who's currently got really bad sciatica. He's in bed like grandpa Joe. If Grandpa Joe was pouring MASSIVE measures of Whisky. Didn't get home till half eight. Though I am fucked off the train I've usually got to work for the last 15 yrs has been cancelled. The cunts. Getting up a bit earlier at the moment is fine. Come October/Nov I'll be less jazzed. Games. Finished the TD2 season 11. Did it with a random as I couldn't do it solo. Have deleted the game as I need to play something else. TV. Succession. Didn't manage the whole episode as the pm was tired. |

Having had to fuck about with many cisterns over the years I wouldn't have a hidden one unless it was behind a panel you could unscrew. Or perhaps a a small knot in the wood you press like in a Secret Seven book and the cistern reveals itself.
Hope they can sort it. If it's their fitting etc then it has to be fit for purpose. Sale of goods act, blah blah blah.

Morning!
PM is in agony with a toothache flare-up. I've been out already on a Co-codamol and Ibuprofen harvesting mission but they havent taken the edge off it yet. She's trying to get an emergency dental appointment, which is likely to cost an arm and a leg if she can find one to take her at short notice. Spent half the night slapping herself in the face to 'take the pain away'. If it were a front tooth i reckon she'd have asked me to get the pliers out, but it's an awkward bugger at the back.

I've had an email from my pension provider letting me know that my personal details have been hacked from their server. Nothing that important, only NI number, date of birth, full name and address, etc.. They offer some solid advice, such as to keep an eye on my bank account as unexplained transactions 'may be a sign of fraud'.
It's probably the best email I've ever had from them, as usually it's just a notification that payments are going up and benefits down.

Ottm: went to Guardians of the Galaxy 3. I generally hate these Marvel films, especially that terrible Dr Strange one, but this was pretty good. However, when did it become 15 quid a ticket to go to the cinema?
