I fell asleep on the sofa last night, then woke up at 2. I brushed my teeth, got into the bed and set the alarm, but I was wide awake by that point, and fretting about work and the possibility of not getting enough sleep before 6.
I’ve felt better….
Today? Boeuf…
I’m actually fretting about work and am now at work. A bad business. I will go and eat some noodles soon.

My mum was concerned last week that she woke at 2am in her chair. She said something about that's what old people do. I reminded her that she's 87 and that counts as old.

In an ideal world the sofa would transform into the bed. Not so.
It’s the teeth brushing that wakes you up I think. And the idea of having to be awake at 6am. You should never have to be up before 7am. I would say … as a rule … the hours between 4am and 7am should always be spent in bed.

Last night a recruitment consultant accidentally forwarded an email to me with someone else's CV attached. I emailed back to make them aware and to state I deleted the email and I have received nothing back, not so much as a thank you.

I noticed it was getting light when I woke up just after 4.30 the other morning.
It's reaching that time of year where it's possible to turn a late gaming session into an early morning one.
There is something very transgressive about staying up so late it is daylight by the time you go to bed.

I've been out buying microwave ready meals. A grim business. *blows head off* With a Grill and a microwave you can actually produce proper meals. It's less than ideal, but quite possible to microwavey or grill most veg. You can't roast anything admittedly. Is there no working hob? |

The hobs on the main oven still work, so I am told (not tested). I will be OK for a bit. On the plus side, I bought a curry chicken & rice meal from Icelands for £1.
Looking forward to that.

Morning Great Reset Fans!
Film blog: Last night I watched Alien Covenant. Tuffers review : Cack. 4*.
Games blog: After a little break following getting a bit bullied by a Rancor, my Jedi returned to Koboh. Seem to be getting a few funny glitches, which wasn't previously happening, walking through objects etc. Still fun. Should progress with more missions but enjoying exploring. Oh, and the bully got his comeuppance.
OTTM, should really stop sunbathing and go inside and do some work.
