PM finally found someone to look at her tooth, so after a quick mercy mission across the city last night she is now 300 quid and one molar lighter. Seems like the tooth-fairy has joined the industrial age.

It's a school holiday here so the child is off but the pm is WFH. The child is off to a pals late morning so that lets me clean the house.
TV. Finished S2 of Guilt. So much of "Edinburgh" shot in Glasgow and also being Chicago. Immersion ruined!
Games. Grid Legends. Wee bit of online against a mix of actual folk/bots. Did ok when it wasn't the hypercars.
Supposed to hit 19°C here today.

Morning all! Another glorious day in the corp!
Last day of term for the boy, and then we’re heading down to Dorset for a few nights.
Gamesblog: nope, though I did watch a trailer for a Warhammer 40k game called Speed Freaks earlier. Think Twisted Metal meets Mad Max meets Orks. Looks to be PC only, for shame.
Also like the look of the next AssCreed. A return to form perhaps?
TVblog: I watch three episodes of DS9 last night. Three! Only a handful of episodes left before the finale.
Foxblog: much fewer sightings now. Glad I grabbed my shots when I did!

We have an independent electrical shop in town who I try to give my trade to. I went armed with questions after doing research on a new fridge. When I showed the owners daughter my list of questions she said "it's just a fridge" in the tone of voice that said it's just a fridge they are all pretty much the same. They keep food cold. Such words of wisdom. Now when I spend ages researching something and can't make my mind up I can hear her voice saying "it's just a fridge"

MrTiddlesSack off this air fryer nonsense. I haven’t got anything to suggest in its place. Is this a temporary oven? You could just eat out. I quite like Japanese style sunken hearth stoves. Also tandoors. Yes - build a tandoor.
