I put it on yesterday, sadly.
After a lot of tinkering I’ve now got it with a starting price of £30 and a ‘Buy it now’ option on £150.
A bit ambitious maybe.
Zero bids. One watcher.

Why thank you for asking. It’s a: Sherwood PM-8550 record player / DJ turntable (with Stanton MkII cartridge). The unit has a variable pitch control dial allowing the pitch of records to be increased or decreased by five percent. It also comes with a removable dust cover.
The turntable is in good working order but does have a few scuffs and scratches. It is being sold exactly as it appears in the photographs, with the plug, audio cables and ground wire attached. There is no spade connector on the ground wire.
If you have any questions please get in contact. Thank you!

So far I've managed to not get pulled in by vinyl. I've done it once already the first time around. Who would want all the faffing around with vinyl when there are easier alternatives.

Kids of today are moving away from vinyl and onto CDs.

I wish the connector spade on the ground wire hadn’t come off. I feel it damages an otherwise very good offer.

I was only joking about the" vinyls" It's one of my many triggers.
I've never heard of that record deck before. That doesn't mean anything though. Good luck with the sale. I've a couple of things I need to put on eBay but can't face it at the moment.

I've a couple of things I need to put on eBay but can't face it at the moment. Well if you bought two together (circa 1996) you got a discount. This was my thinking. The idea was that my housemate would get the second if I could put it to him as a DJ mixing set-up. I was half into that but mainly just wanted something to play my records on.

Also, nice furnishings in the flat.

The connector doesn’t actually make any difference to how it works. You just clamp the earth screw onto wire rather than a piece of metal. But you’re right … It makes for a bum note …

Morning all! Hottest day of the year already at only 23.4 of her majesty's degrees centigrade. It can only get colder from here! Looking forward to a balmy 17 in July.
Vinyls - I'm a vinyls person. I've got that Ikea shelves thing full of them. I've also got an out of action pair of DJ turntables, and my Dad's automatic turntable from the 70s. You can get some lovely sounds on that vinyl these days. I've heard of this new thing called CDs but I don't think it will catch on.

Daky. You own records. They're made of vinyl.
Got any papers? ie Books? CDs? You mean a clear polycarbonate plastic substrate, a reflective metallic layer, and a clear protective coating of acrylic plastic collection?

Did you know?…
‘Record’ is actually short for ‘Recorded platter’.

The Lad NewswireLaddy took his cat's collar off last night as the tinkling of the bell was annoying him. Later on, he fancied a snack, so bunged some grub in the oven. He was shortly alerted to an acrid smell coming from said oven, so opened it up to find a burning cat collar in there. He has no idea how the collar got in the oven but I suspect drugs may have been involved. The denouement of this tale was much less grotesque than I feared.

Roast chicken for lunch, for some reason I cooked 4(!) different vegetables*, brussels, peas, carrots and sugar snap peas.
So used the oven, microwave, boiling and steaming, all too much, takeaway next Sunday.
Still good though 4*
*potatoes apparently don't count as a vegetable and so is not "1 of your 5", I dispute this.
