First tip turn off cut-scene subtitles.

The only thing i can get to is a notice they are investigating log in issues.

Hmmm, I've had 2 PS5 crashes recently - game freezes and console starts making a loud buzzing sound and the only way out is holding the power button to shut it down. Minecraft both times. Have any other readers encountered this phenomenon?

Ottm: Round Britain Quiz was horrific this week. Ridiculous questions even by their own standards. I thought Stuart Maconie was going to kick the fuck off at one point. 4 stars. And why was Kirsty so mean with the points? She's suddenly started docking multiple points for the tiniest of nudges in the right direction. |

Also, I watched The Gallows Pole on bbc iplayer. I do not get the cult of Shane Meadows at all. Baffling theatre group improv shtick. I had to watch some classic episodes of Columbo from the 70s to calm down.

I like a lot of Shane Meadows’s stuff but put Thomas Turgoose in and it goes downhill. Not that Thomas Turgoose is bad necessarily.
In Gallows Pole the theatre group improv schtick seems really obvious, maybe because the rest of it is so highly stylised.
Hmmm. I mean on balance I do quite like it.

I was so tired yesterday after work. I felt like I’d been drugged. Leaden. But all I’d done was drink some beer and eat some houmous with pitta bread.
When I went to bed I still felt leaden but I couldn’t sleep. Pretty disspiriting.
