I can also navigate by the sun... Just in case. Just in case the apocalypse happens on one of the three or four days of the year that you can see it up here...

When the zombie apocalypse comes I will do OK as I am a handy fisherman and also did well on the zombie shotgun challenge on Timesplitters 2.

I've only known of Wee through the Box but I'm absolutely terrified of him. I'd probably be a human shield for him or let him fashion armour from my skin and bones in any zombie apocalypse.

Make sure to check out the Thornbridge beers, their Wild Swan is a fantastic summer beer garden drink. I also recommend the mighty Jaipur.

I'm ok. It's only because when I joined the 'Box I was the first ex soldier. The 'Box rumour mill did the rest.

Oh and being just shy of 2m tall and 120kg probably didn't help either.

Come the zombie apocalypse, at least my lawn will look neat and tidy long after the electric mower crowd’s have become an unkempt mess.

2m? 120kg? Are you trying to give Amipal an aneurysm? I'm fine with metric weights and measurements. I blame wargaminng for making me actively use imperial measurements. Hello all. When did this place start working again? I haven't been able to access it for most of the weekend, or this morning. Had a great night out on Saturday with former work colleagues from over a decade ago. Good people.

The ones I recognise as being reliably good are mikkeller, left handed giant, beavertown and verdant. Verdant's "I played bass on that tune" is probably the best ipa I've tasted.

Wee - what was your approx KG weight when in service? I've got a few tables and charts which allow me to calculate approx energy expenditure for a legionary while (a) on march over 29km and (b) march and camp construction.

I would be interested in not only the energy expenditure here, but also how many fun size Mars Bars this equates to.

Unfortunately the British squaddie buckles his gladius to the wrong side rendering energy requirement comparisons meaningless.

130kg? I've got some eating to do to get fit then. I'll probably need to order some larger smocks though.

assuming we go for a 90kg Wee, then you are looking at a kcal expenditure of roughly 5,693 kcals per day for a march and building camp. That's around 37 fun sized mars bars from my possibly incorrect maths.
Anyone missing those BB match reports now?
