I just completed Chapter 1 (Zelda's Rescue) on The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on the Mini SNES.

I sold my record player on EBay. I didn’t get much money for it, I spent £10 more than I thought in packaging and £15 in fees. I don’t remember Ebay taking that much before. Ah well. eBay have really ramped up their sellers’ fees. Always worth holding on for a cheap-fees day if you’re not desperate to move things.

I’ll be lucky to see £15 from this sale. It was quite a good record player too. Shame it was physically massive.

I played Fortnite last night. I took part in one win.
After that I went into my ‘wish list’ on the Playstation Store. I saw ‘Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise’ going for a song at £4.79 so I bought that. I bought the right to play it. It’s ok. Lots of cut-scenes. I think it’s by the same people who make the Yakuza games so you get 20 minutes of chunter and exposition before you can do anything. I’ve actually only played one Yakuza game … part of it … There was … all the chunter and exposition so I didn’t feel compelled to carry on….

Saw "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" yesterday, fabulous film, Pref.Mam. thought it was better than the first one and I agree, 2hrs 20mins just flew by, highly recommend. 4*
Also tickets were £11 each due to it being Monday before 19:00 which is not bad.

I can't believe it's not butter... His excuse of unknowingly ejaculating whilst taking a shit and then this falling into the coffee seems somewhat flimsy.

Morning all!
For some reason, I woke up at 4:50am. I expect I was worried about waking up for work this morning… eventually dragged myself out of bed at 6am. Quiet roads earlier, most odd.
TVblog: my partner was watching The Great British Sewing Bee on iPlayer, and then complained that I was on my phone. Yes, because TGBSB is definitely the content I want to watch…
Modelblog: finished working on my latest creation, a conversion of an IFV into a self-propelled mortar. Will post pics when they’re shareable (they are in the Other Place already).

Films
Macbeth (Michael Fassbender) on Amazon. It's only there a few days. It's very moody. I presume red filters for the camera accounted for $15m of it's $20m budget.
I watched the most recent version on Apple+ last year.
The Fassbender one is less stagey. They both felt like they were in a dialogue with all the other versions of Macbeth. Important Art Events. A bit too self-consciously quality to be properly enjoyable I didn't think the ending worked that well. Not the end to Macbeth, but the way it was filmed, Also all the bearded bloke shot from odd angles with moody lighting are sometimes difficult to tell apart.
Four stars recommended
Games Just a bit of Fortnite. One win. I got killed early doors. Shenguin reviewed his strategies and rebooted me. This worked out well. In the endgame Shengers got killed, but the killer ended up in a three way fight with the final pair. I joined in from the sidelines. I almost killed a player who ran away. I followed him expecting to be killed. When he reappeared one blast killed him and the victory screen suddenly appeared. I had not been aware there were only two of us left.

Hi!
Games? Jedi Survivor - mostly just watching. It looks alright though.
Telly? Columbo - I am deep into this now. A complete watch-through is on the cards.
Ottm: I've worked out the full extent to which I am getting rinsed by BT for broadband, based on a combination of carelessness when renewing and the absolute gall of them increasing the bill by about 20 quid a couple of months ago just because they can. Am considering paying them the hundreds they'll no doubt demand for early cancellation, just to get out of their evil clutches.

If you've not actually agreed to a new contract and you're just (hah!) rolling months to month then you can cancel without a fee *I believe*

Do you have a mobile phone contract? Many of those - ee, Vodafone etc will give you money off for going with them.
As do sky if you have sky TV.
We get £3 a month off our Vodafone as my mobile is also with them. Of course that's the amount they upped it by in April.

Yeah we're tied in till April. Our own fault for not paying attention to the small print when they 'offered' to send us a new box last year.

BT are the best. I've always said it. When I was with them on a £20 a month phone deal they charged me £10 extra per month for not making enough phone calls. There was no notification of this. It was just on the bill. Also their service was seven shades of shit. We had some words about the hidden charges and I signed up with Sky.
