(wave)I'm now watching the film 'Troll' on Netflix. Another so called "conspiracy theory" now proven as FACT. Wake up! Was this the 1980s film with Julia Louis-Dreyfus? That filmβs a bit disturbing. At least it was disturbing to me in the 1980sβ¦

Hello. No games or TV last night.
Went to see my maws partner who is still bedridden with Sciatica. Been back to the doctor's who this time prescribed something "that's made for Sciatica.." - maybe that's what you should have given him a month ago ya tool.
Early-ish to bed with a Rebus book I'm reading.
Another lovely day here. Off to the shops for some Mortons rolls as we've no breaded products for lunch. The pm is WFH. I shall be doing my usual Friday of cleaning and Asda delivery - but with less procrastination due to the aforementioned PM being here.
OttM. Bobby Gillespie. SMH. Didn't know about the Denise Johnson stuff either.

Title: "Off the Rails"
Synopsis:
Lazybones is an ordinary man living in West London, commuting daily to his office job in the heart of the city. He's earned his nickname due to his lackadaisical attitude and seemingly carefree approach to life. However, beneath the surface, Lazybones is struggling with the soul-crushing monotony of his daily routine and the weight of his unfulfilling job.
As we follow Lazybones on his daily commute, we witness the countless other nameless faces who share his journey, each seemingly lost in their own world. We are introduced to his coworkers, each of whom are dealing with their own struggles and pressures in a highly competitive and demanding work environment. Lazybones begins to feel increasingly isolated and disconnected from those around him.
As the pressures of his job intensify, Lazybones' mental health begins to deteriorate. He starts to experience vivid and surreal nightmares, blending the boundaries between reality and his subconscious. In these dreams, he finds himself in an apocalyptic version of London where chaos and destruction reign supreme, and he is forced to confront his deepest fears and insecurities.
In his waking life, Lazybones becomes increasingly paranoid, interpreting everyday occurrences as sinister signs of the impending apocalypse. His behavior becomes erratic, and he starts to alienate those around him, even as he tries to warn them about the disaster he believes is imminent.
As Lazybones reaches his breaking point, he decides to take matters into his own hands. In a desperate attempt to escape his mundane existence and prevent the apocalypse, he hatches a plan to sabotage the tube system, believing that this will bring about a new world order that will free him and his fellow commuters from their psychological torment.
The thrilling climax of "Off the Rails" sees our protagonist attempting to execute his plan, only to be thwarted by an unexpected encounter with a fellow commuter. This chance meeting forces Lazybones to confront the reality of his actions and reevaluate his outlook on life. As the film concludes, we are left to ponder whether Lazybones has truly come to terms with his inner demons or if the seeds of chaos have only just begun to sprout.

Morning. I no longer have free Netflix, the buggers have pulled the plug on it. Harumph. Fuck em. Steal it. Cheeky bait and switch fuckers. Or, is the person who is paying for it savvy enough to set up a VPN on their home router? Are you savvy enough to then connect whatever box you connect to Netflix via that VPN once a month?

I've just had ice cream, strawberries and homemade strawberry sauce. Absolute scenes.
It was a deconstructed ice cream sundae that the pm & child had (constructed) at her maws and I got mine to go as I was at work.
Had some of the sauce in my porridge this morning as well as there was loads.

Picked the wrong day to go in to the labs today. A14 closed both ways since 5.30, and Ipswich is at gridlock. 2 and a half hours just to get in via diversions, and not forecast to re-open til about 8pm FFS.
