I liked boxing as a kid, then I went off it. Now I like it again. The best fights I watched (on telly) were Frank Bruno vs. Mike Tyson and the Chris Eubank, Nigel Benn ones. Then all the Chris Eubank ones until he injured Michael Watson and started pulling his punches.

Afternoon, chaps.
26 degrees here, according to Apple Weather. Keeping at 23 degrees indoors, according to the thermostat. The blind which I installed in the porch last autumn is doing a cracking job at keeping the heat out of there.
I’m in a bit of a bind. A lazybones-and-sister situation. Except it’s an amipal-and-brother situation.
As some are aware, we’re twins. We take it in turns to organise our joint birthday do as we share a lot of friends, and this year it’s my turn. Every time it’s my turn, I get so much pushback on restaurant choice. Every damned time. And this year is no different.
I don’t pick places that I know he and his wife won’t like. I pick places that I know there’s plenty of choice, that have tasty menus.
Generates so much anxiety and worry in me. I’m getting to the point where I’m just not going to bother sorting anything out with him, and just go out with friends without him.

Morning
It's a 26° scorcher in God's own county. So I've spent all afternoon with my tap aff trimming the 'Big hedge'. Needs step ladders and I have to ask next door if I can pop round to reach the top in some parts from their side. I think I've sweated out a few pints easy.
Now under the parasol having an ice cold can of Orangina which, as any fule knows, is the GOAT of fizzy orange flavoured drinks.
Off to Morrisons shortly to get food and boozes.
Then it's The Big Match™ tonight. Just hoping it's a competitive decent game and not one way traffic as a lot of people think. I don't care who lifts the cup as long as football is the winner.
