I'm making tandoori chicken again. My chicken thighs (bone in) have been marinating in the fridge all afternoon. First time I made it I used Madhur Jaffrey's recipe. This time I'm going fully authentic and using The Hairy Bikers recipe.

I'm getting ads for air fryers. I don't want an air fryer.
I'm at work. Drinking.

Just got back from drinking for 5 hours with someone who was 18 when I first met them when they were a barmaid, 17 years later they can still drink me under the table. 4*

The only test i went to it rained all day. In the afternoon they managed a few minutes playing to avoid giving refunds.
I saw Dean Jomes and Steve Waugh make a century each and that was about it. I think Gus Fraser took a wicket.
£30 for just under an hour. Back in the days when £30 was £30. Another £10 on beer. I don't think i was even allowed to buy beer.

My last live (not on telly) test match was Eng v Aus in the famous 2005 ashes. Final test decider at The Oval. Day 1. 25-30° weather. You could still take either 4 beers or one bottle of wine into the gound then. I took 4 cans of Ruddles and the best pack lunch ever. Scotch eggs, mattesons smoked sausage, sandwiches, pork pie, the works.
Saw Strauss get a century. Flintoff get 70 odd and the great Warne get a fivefer or sixfer (Punter brought him on before lunch!) . Was in the posh pavilion seats too. Lovely stuff.
A glorious day.

I see Ashes cricket is once again not on terrestrial telly.
