I have the council coming to collect some old furniture today some time between 7am and 3pm. I have to leave it in the communal area downstairs. It will be right outside my downstairs neighbours front door. I probably should tell them about it, but I've not met them yet. It's also too early and I can't be arsed

A long night. Muggy. I liked being able to go to sleep listening to the internet’s premier ambient station, ‘The Drone Zone’. But the remote control for the amplifier was on the fritz, meaning an early morning sortie from bed.
On Radio 4 they played the national anthem, I think because it’s Prince William’s birthday. Do they always do that?
I’m not really an anti-royalist but that’s a bit shit.
Maybe I dislike in the playing of the national anthem what I fear and suspect in myself?
Troubling food for thought.

My brother was off at 6.30 to Glasto, they have a private camp site booked just off site. Guns N' Roses are on Saturday and I expect Axl will again mess up his voice to again render my trip to Glasgow on Tuesday pointless.

I think there are still tickets for Guns and/or Roses in hyde park next week. It's a lot of money though. If it was vintage 80s-90s era then I'd happily pay it, but it isn't
